After much complaining about aches and pains and going for spa massages, I decided to try "manual therapy".

I want to start by saying my attendant was very nice and didn't appear to have anything to do with…read morethe marketing that brought me in. Based on my experience in marketing and branding, she was clearly following a script she was trained on. The moment I asked questions off script, there were no answers--and no one else stepped in to help. That alone told me this may not be an isolated situation. This location is actually great--right near the LA Fitness I use, surrounded by other health and wellness businesses. On paper, it's the perfect spot for a place like iCRYO. The issue is how I was brought in. My daughter came across a social media ad offering a $349 package for $47 "TODAY ONLY" with a countdown timer and limited availability. Obvious red flags--but we still gave it a shot. As adults who are active and into fitness and wellness, we genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses that align with that lifestyle. I signed up, paid the $47, and within minutes got a call to book same-day. I was told to expect about a 30-minute visit including a tour. When I got there, everything started off normal--check-in, paperwork, quick tour. I've done cryotherapy and compression therapy before, so I was familiar with most of what they offer. For context, I had knee reconstruction surgery at 18 and have dealt with chronic pain ever since. Managing it through fitness and recovery is just part of my life at this point. So trying something new for $47 is typically worth it in the aggregate. The service I received was red light therapy, which I hadn't tried before. It was presented as part of a "$379 weight loss body contouring package." Screenshots of the actual advertisement and messages are included in this review. The attendants description was read off of the brochure posted in the therapy room. It listed about 20 ailments you can treat by changing the settings of the machine (interestingly, weight loss wasn't even one of them). Stress, hormone balance, pain, autonomic nerve balance, and soft tissue repair were some of the options. I chose "athletic recovery," since I had just come from the gym. A pic of that chart is also included. I was told the session is 12 minutes of therapy and was given basic instructions on how to start the machine after disrobing. It lasted about 8 minutes (I timed it while listening to a podcast). It's similar to a tanning bed, flatter and less comfortable. Afterward, the attendant (again, very nice) went into the membership pitch, which I expected. You advertise to get bodies in front of your pitch person, I get it 100%. After hearing the different plans and memberships, I asked one simple question: What would that exact session cost if I walked in off the street? Answer: $39.....? So I clarified--just to be sure I wasn't misunderstanding--that I had just paid $47 for something that normally costs $39. She confirmed that was correct. No other words spoken. I asked about the $379 package I supposedly purchased, and she said that was a third-party promotion and she wasn't familiar with it. (Insert awkward silence) No one stepped in. No one tried to explain it. No one seemed surprised. I turned down the offer to pay more money for additional sessions and walked out the door. On my way to my car, I remembered I grabbed a screenshot of the advertised package for reasons lole this...... Surly if I show her I was telling the truth I would get a different reaction. That was a negative ghost-rider.... neither her or the other two employees in the room acted concerned or suprised that I was baited with a "$379 package for only $47" offer, and the off-the-street price is $39. There was still no explanation or attempt to reconcile the situation. Just more awkward silence and stares. At that point, it felt less like confusion and more like a disconnect between the marketing and what is actually being delivered in-store. It seems like this is their intended model. To continue to be fair: the staff I interacted with was polite, and the facility itself is clean and well-located. That's what makes this more frustrating--because the underlying business seems solid. What I would have liked to reasonably understand (and would still welcome): What exactly is included in the advertised $349 package? How does that differ from the $39 walk-in service I actually received? Why didn't the staff know about the package or advertisement? Does that promotion and result represent their brand the way they intended? The silver lining in this story is the opportunity to share the experience with the review community so others don't get scammed. Beware when you see an iCRYO promotion or advertisement. Over time, you are usually on the receiving end of warnings and praise for businesses and services. Today, I am a giver! My $47 investment will hopefully help another member of the community. In the meantime, my search for new technology that can help manage my pain continues.

I started with the red light therapy bed for about 12 minutes, and it was honestly the best sleep I've had in a long time. My body felt relaxed and energized at the same time -- such a great feeling. After that, I did the compression therapy on my legs and hips, which felt sooo good, especially with all the training I've been doing. I also tried an IV drip that really woke my body up, and then I finished with the cryo session... which was insane in the best way. I went in wearing a sports bra, shorts, high knee socks, gloves, and a face/neck cover -- but next time I'm definitely bringing a hat! I danced the whole time in the cryo chamber to Bad Bunny's "Tití Me Preguntó", which made the experience even more fun. This was my first time doing anything like this, and it couldn't have come at a better time. My boyfriend surprised me with the full spa package to help me prepare for my half marathon the next day, and it was exactly what my body needed. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

We booked the lowest-priced ritual package, which included a 60-minute massage (we upgraded to 90 minutes) and a 60-minute sauna session. The cost came to $288 before the tip, after applying a Spa Finder gift card. We tipped 20% for each masseuse, but the "Tippy" system they use for tipping added an annoying $1-2 service fee. It would be nice if they switched to a different system that didn't tack on this extra charge. The spa offers free parking, a delicious ginger shot upon arrival, Fiji water, and free locker access. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was clean, calming, and peaceful. Our sauna session was scheduled for 6:30 PM, followed by our massage at 7:30 PM. The sauna room was spacious, and I managed to stay inside for the full hour, although my husband had to step out to cool off. The heated seats outside the sauna are a nice touch for those who can't handle the full heat. The only downside was that you couldn't play Netflix on the large TV in the sauna, so we ended up watching a movie on one of our phones. The hour flew by, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The TV does display a 10-minute warning timer, and we had to sign a form agreeing to be charged extra if we exceeded the time, so we made sure to leave with enough time to shower and put on our robes. The door to the sauna room didn't lock, which made us a bit nervous that someone might accidentally walk in. After the sauna, a male staff member was waiting outside for us and asked if we were ready for our massages. We quickly put our belongings in the locker, but when we were ready, he was nowhere to be found. We had to go to the front desk, and another staff member escorted us to the salt room, where we waited for about 10 minutes. We didn't pay extra for the salt room, and honestly, we were glad we didn't. It was relaxing, but neither of us felt any real benefit from it. Our massages started around 7:40 PM. The masseuses asked us which areas to focus on and then got right to work. The massages were incredible, with medium to deep pressure--exactly what we were hoping for. They targeted every area, even including our scalp and face, leaving us in a state of total zen. However, the massages were technically supposed to end at 9:10 PM, but when we checked the time afterward, it was only 8:55 PM. The spa does close at 9:00 PM, so we felt a bit shortchanged on our massage time, which was disappointing since we paid for the extra 30 minutes. Overall, I highly recommend the couples ritual at Gaia Spa. Despite a few minor issues, it was a relaxing and much-needed escape!

I joined Hotworx in Pembroke Pines back in 2021 and have always loved working out there.. However,…read morerecently I initially put my membership on hold for three months from December to February for medical reasons. After I was cleared medically to go back, I just simply did not have the time to go as often as I would like. So on Wednesday after work, I went to cancel my membership. I was shocked when the lead TSA told me she would not help me because she's about to go on break and I had to wait for the other TSA. I felt that that was horrible customer service. She was literally right there but chose not to help me and to make me wait for someone else when the process literally took five minutes. It was as if she took me canceling my membership personally. It was very UNPROFESSIONAL! For that reason alone if I ever rejoin Hotworx, it won't be that Pembroke Pines location.

This is a brand new concept for the workout world. Just when you thought it had all been done, along comes Hotworx to change the game. If you have never heard of Hotworx before, you are about to start hearing all about this trending workout in South Florida. It is a studio with multiple CLEAN AND WELL KEPT infrared saunas that each feature a different workout. They even included three saunas with ellipticals and bikes. Each sauna plays a different workout every 15, 30, or 45 minutes for participants to follow along with. If you are someone who needs someone on top of them the entire time then this might not be for you. You definitely will have to push yourself to follow through the workout. The workouts range from beginner to highly advanced. I'm a trainer and struggled through their advanced warrior. Their motto is "more workout for less time" and boy, is that true! My muscles were on fire for the days following. It was challenging and fun! Due to COVID they have allowed only three people in the saunas and you must be from the same hose hold. This was actually a great time because my sister and I got to have our own sauna! It was great to try a new workout and not feel eyes watching or judging. We spoke with Taylor who was not only kind and welcoming but also extremely informative! After speaking with her I feel as though I could work there! She was very detailed! I would be sure to be back in future. My only quell is that they do require a contract to sign up. As someone who travels a lot, this was a bit of an issue. Definitely try this workout! You won't regret it!
