It was just as good as the first one. The chow was slightly better than the last trip, but this day trip was more expensive. I HAD A GOOD TIME. So here is what it costs: 1 Adult: $118 (Full Day trip from 8AM to 5PM) And here is what you get: Breakfast & Lunch Unlimited Soda Use of a standard Rod & Reel with Tackle Fishing License for the day Free Parking Dead Sardine and Squid Bait provided This boat is smaller than my last trip, so there is a lot more rocking! I did not see many fish caught. It seemed that everyone fed a lot of bait to the fish. The fish are very adept at nibbling and stealing the bait without taking the hook. I did get one good strike and played it for about 20 seconds, but the line snapped and whatever it was took the bait and the hook. I could complain that I did not catch a fish to take home and eat, but I will not. This is called "fishing", not "catching". It is not a sure thing to bring home anything. Big fish don't get big by being stupid! I simply enjoyed my time at sea VERY MUCH. The CREW was EXEMPLARY. VERY PATIENT and EXPERIENCED. They are masters at untangling crossed fishing lines. They also provided valuable information on how to properly handle and secure your hook, as well as how to properly bait the hook. The GALLEY CHEF provided SIMPLE FOOD that was TASTY and SATISFYING. Be sure to tip them well. I also met many nice people on the boat from all walks of life and enjoyed talking to them!

I always wanted to stay on a boat (smaller than a ship), a bucket list item. They come up on searches and many look suspiciously dirty. The the Shangrila came up on my search and I said why not. It was the cheapest and surely not the most expensive. But, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and the cleanliness. It was ready for everything fully stocked in the kitchen including a dishwasher. Kudos whoever choose the bedding. What a great nights sleep!! What kind of pillows are on the bed!!!! (Forgot to look). Convenient restaurant with amazing key lime pie! Only feedback is there was a problem with our third party booking site getting the information to us the check-in, as there is no one there. Easy call to the staff taken care of in less than 5 minutes. Remove dead plants, also, people sailing through don't always follow "no wake" rules!! Only in the day did we experience that and not that often. This is a new favorite thing to do!!! We plan on returning!

Buyer beware! I had a five night stay booked at this property in one of the townhomes. When I…read morearrived, I immediately realized that the home was not as clean as it should have been. The furniture was grossly stained, the bed in the master bedroom was so rickety that even a small amount of pressure caused the whole thing to sway, Lightbulbs were blinking in the master bathroom, and dead bugs were on the floor. I immediately called their guest services number and spoke with a gentleman who was actually quite helpful and compassionate about the situation. I sent them the same photos. I have posted below, and they agreed that the property should not have been in that condition. They offered to show me a Condo which was smaller as an alternative. When we toured it prior to deciding if we would stay or not, we saw the same issues with gross stains on the furniture, and gooey smudges on the wall. We refuse to accept that as an alternative, as it was not at all an improvement. Their final attempt at providing a solution was at a newer property, which was nice in terms of its condition, but it was farther away from where we needed to stay making the drive inconvenient for us. It was also a two bedroom apartment when we had five people and two dogs on our booking. Because I booked through hotels.com, the property refused to work with me directly on the issues and told me it had to go through the booking agent. I requested a refund through hotels.com on Sunday, and it was not until Thursday that the property even bothered to reply and offered a 25% refund for a trip that I never even took. Their customer service agents are like gatekeepers and refused to allow you to speak to upper management. They only divert you back to hotels.com, which I understand from a policy perspective, but from a customer service perspective, it leaves much to be desired. I believe that because they offered me options, none of which were good ones, they believe they did not need to provide me with a refund. Just know that if you choose to book here, that if something goes wrong, you will likely not be compensated. We did not stay a single night and left within hours of checking in. They still believe a refund was not needed. Find anywhere else to stay but here.

I have to agree, unfortunately, with the three star rating. Dear first issue was the room they…read moreassigned us did not have a working air conditioner. Some of the other issues were that a large group of us had booked our rooms at the same time however, our rooms were everywhere on property from the second floor to the eighth floor . Would've been nice to be within a floor or two with each other but that's OK. However, the folks who were on the second floor had an awful awful view of dead foliage. There were numerous things that needed to be updated. Let's start with the bathroom, the bathrooms, although appear to be updated., however f you were trying to take a shower, you could not get the water from the shower head but only through the bathtub faucet.. The toilet seat is absolutely gross. It's been torn up a lot and had lots of gouges in it, which harbor germs so that was gross. The hairdryer did not work in either room. The dishwasher that was opened to put dishes in stunk terribly, such an awful smell that I washed every dish before I used it because the smell was so awful and I wasn't sure if they were properly cleaned.. Beyond that the ceiling fan pulls were so rusted they broke off in my hand. The "" patio furniture was so used up from the previous season that if you sat in it, you sunk way down. The elevator was out for several hours. Which would not have been an issue if we didn't have people with us who could not climb stairs so that caused everybody to sit outside in the hot sun until the elevators were working again. There were kids playing in the pool with a volleyball and not disturbing anybody else in the pool but management came out and took the ball away from them which was kind of sad cause they weren't being obnoxious they were just playing nicely so I wasn't sure what that was about. The pool rules say nothing about having a toy in them, so I'm not quite sure what the pool rules are except the way the management had come out and yelled at these kids for using the ball, they were not my kids. I didn't know any of them, but they were all playing politely and nicely and now the pool rule does not say DO NOT have a ball in the pool ior any toys in there. In the past, some of our group has been yelled out about having a floaty in the pool so we don't ever bring one ever since then. A lot of the foliage obviously died in the past winter and is still staring at you without new growth. The washer again has the washer and dryer smelled terrible. Basically they have come way down from a gold crown resort which is a shame because this used to be an awesome place to stay however they need to fix an update things.

You'll take away some of the magic. Key POINT: this cruise ship is primarily for kids to about 12 years old. And every kid walks off this boat just elated!!! Outside of a few Trivia events adults don't have much to do. Pros: -Top quality entertainers from Vegas, West End and Broadway - immaculately clean - fitness center has nice equipment including Peleton - characters are accessible ... much better than the Disney parks. - movie theaters on board show new releases - because most kids go to bed early stateroom neighbor noise is minimal. - the private island stop in the Bahamas was breathtaking and perfect - the mariachi in the Coco restaurant was really nice . - firework show - the Incredibles race track - bingo was entertaining Cons: -Staterooms do not have twin bed options so cabin mates have to share a bed. If under 5'10" the sofa bed is an option. - outside of evening shows, not much for adults to do. Quite a few grandparents were abandoned. (The irony is many of them were footing the bill.) - dining rooms cramped... felt like a cafeteria. - you cannot eat in peace as the themed dining rooms are non-stop entertainment for the kids. - this is my first cruise I didn't make any new friends. Most people just talk to their own family units. They were polite in elevators but no cross talking anywhere. "Stranger Danger" - definitely not suited for the LGBTQ demographic - pools all very tiny and not really able to swim just cool off. -outside of trivia ... no Star Wars representation. I left the shipped very relaxed and happy to have shared a nice week with the extended family. I doubt I will try another ship as I don't have children so I'm not their target customer.

I wish I could comment on the food, but this was the first time I've ever got seasick . For the first few days it was excellent though, especially brunch at Palo Steakhouse. Even though I was under the weather, I was able to rest well onboard. I will say though that as much as I enjoyed dining in the various restaurants, I felt for the cast members because it seemed so tight for them to quickly move back and forth. It wasn't as conducive for conversation with the servers like we were able to on other ships. (I'll admit I'm especially fond of the Wonder and Magic.) It was pretty cool to pull into port and see the newest ship, the Disney Destiny, right next to us. Hopefully we will try that ship too. Don't forget to order Disney Mickey ice cream bars from room service, the true hidden Mickey/secret menu item.
