Apollo Park takes its name from the small Apollo Park neighborhood of approximately 100 families in Pompano Beach. Apollo Park is located behind the Northwest Branch Library.
Apollo Park is a modest neighborhood park of 4.3 acres. Amenities include pavilion shelters which can be rented, picnic areas, grills, restrooms, a walking/ jogging track, a covered playground with an older child and toddler area with climbing structures and slides, and basketball, tennis, handball, and sand volley ball courts. Large trees offer shade.
Apollo Park hasn't received any updates in years. Residents in this part of town would like a football field.
