This time, we needed to replace our outdated smoke detectors, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I really appreciate that Travis Electrical always sends a text letting me know the technician is actually on the way. So very helpful! Eddie Aguilar came out first to assess the job, then returned to install the new detectors. He was punctual, courteous, and genuinely helpful. His knowledge really showed: he answered every question I had clearly and patiently, so I felt confident about what was being done in our home. He had all of our new detectors installed quickly and they were up and running in no time. Having working smoke detectors again is a comfort knowing our home is protected, and Eddie made the whole process easy. The entire staff at Travis has consistently delivered top-quality service, and that's exactly why we keep coming back. Was told absolutely. It's 1:05pm and still no tech. Called and now being told it's been rescheduled for two days out. No phone, no text. Just 5 hours of wasted time. I'd get any other company besides this one. You'll be wasting your time with Lee Company.

The initial two technicians who came were very nice, very honest and gave us a fair price for the repair. All that remained was for a person to come and complete the tile work. We were promised and set up an appointment days in advance to have the technician come at 8 AM. I received a call about 10 AM saying they had had a problem with the truck and had to take it back for repair. Understandable. However, at 1 PM still no one had come and no one had called. When my wife called to check, someone said that they had come to the gate of our gated community and did not receive any notice so they went away. They did not try to call me, the gate automatically caused my phone. Being in the hospital, I had nothing to do but answer a phone.. They did not try to call my wife. I am in the hospital having to deal with this stress. I had canceled my subscription with Lee Company once before, due to a concern over high pricing of parts that could be found at 1/3 the price.. This company, and these technicians knew of the predicament my wife and I were in. They did little to make things right. Consequently, the technician is now supposed to come the next day. Never mind that my wife had rearranged her life so that she could come tend to me at the hospital but other things as well so that she could be present when they arrived. This is typical of a fly-by-night company not someone with the reputation that Lee Company supposedly enjoys. Even if you reconfirm appointments, sometimes they don't come and they don't call.

Even though they made me aware in the beginning, that it was the first time for them installing something of this nature. They didn't hinder them in troubleshooting, reading the schematics and figuring out a way to get the result desired. In terms of the install, the two video screens look like they were originally built part of the house and the power is ran into the ceiling/attic. (Instead of running down the wall to an outlet like one electrician told me the only option was) And the price was actually cheaper than a 'craigslist electrician.' There were some hiccups with the custom electric lock, yet the owner eventually took ownership of the problem and came out to the assess the problem and worked towards a solution that would eventually appease everyone. They probably spent more time on this than they probably wanted, lol. Yet, great job overall.

The service person, without even consulting with me first, turned the gas off going to my unit! Mind you it was getting cold, especially at night. After he turned off the gas, to where we couldn't have turned it on if we wanted to, he proceeded to tell me "You can't use your heat, it could kill you in your sleep! Carbon monoxide is leaking from your unit." So I contacted my Home Warranty company and they sent someone out the next day. The service person came the next day and looked at my unit. He said, "I don't know who you use to service your unit, but there is NOTHING WRONG with it. They straight up lied to you. If I were you, I'd find a new company, because they were just trying to make money off of you. Your unit is in good shape, and should last for several more years". He serviced my unit, turned the gas back on, and we had heat that night!! That was a YEAR AGO, and my unit is still working just fine! No thanks to Hiller! I wouldn't trust them any further than I could have thrown that lying service person!! Just beware! They lied once, and we all know that they'll lie again. I'm an older woman, and they thought they could take advantage of me! They should be ashamed and run out of business. If I could I'd give them a NEGATIVE 10 stars! Relatable. Always in communication, of he's late he will tell you. I trusted this guy, wasn't even home and allowed him to work there without me being there. Can't say that about many of the people I've worked with. The work he did varied from electrical for my security system to fixing my ring doorbell that I messed up. LOL.
