I have used their services in the past.
Ultimately I would choose 3.5/5 stars if given the option.
I connected with a Recruiter at Apex who I thought was OK. He didn't have the best communication skills and didn't hype up the enterprise company he was recruiting me for, so there was that. Prior to interviewing with the client, I was sent an email on how to prep for the interview, which included how to answer behavioral questions. I was given a secure link for a video interview with the manager who offered me the job on the spot.
I decided to pursue another video interview with a Team Lead based upon the manager's input.
I didn't accept because I didn't know my conversion salary or a copy of their Benefits which made it extremely hard to help me make a final decision.
After requesting from Apex multiple times, I was finally able to obtain the company's Benefits but no info. On my conversion salary. Apex told me I'd be making a lot of money after converting from contract to fulltime. However, I didn't want to gamble and could only use the concrete facts given to me currently to made a decision...I don't like "What If" scenarios especially when it comes to what salary I'd be making in the future.
Ultimately, I declined the job. I thanked the Account Manager and Recruiter...it's been awhile since this situation and I sense their bitter because I didn't hear back.
I encourage their team to better understand why I was looking which was a mix of career growth & a higher salary! read more
