Needs some Rehabilitation for itself…read more I had a recent hernia repair that caused me to hit the reset button on my very physically fit lifestyle. My doctor recommend an option for Physical Therapy to ease back into exercise and to make sure that I protected my repair since it can take almost a year to fully heal. I was recommend to this location by a friend of mine who had a similar injury. When I initially called Dunn and Associates I was greeted by a receptionist that was very friendly but not informative. I kept asking questions like what to expect, what to wear, and how much my insurance would cover for the service. Even though I gave my insurance information over the phone and describe my reasons for physical therapy, I was told that all information would be addressed in my initial consultation. When I arrived for my initial consultation I was told it was actually my first therapy visit and I would have to pay my copay. I was extremely put off by this, because I made the appointment before work and was dressed in a skirt and office jacket. I was not prepared to pay or participate in a session. I even commented to receptionist that when I made the reservation over the phone she should have instructed me on what to bring and that money would be due. It was not that I didn't expect a cost, but I would have like to known the price so I could save my money or even postpone my first appointment so I could pay at time of service if the amount would have been substantial. I have had two physical therapy sessions so far. Most of the therapy is related to Pilates and protecting the core. I receive very detailed instructions and handouts for me to practice moves at home. They constantly ask me to have weights and a small ball at home, but I keep telling them they should offer this as apart of their rehab service since it is required for my at home therapy routine. I have seen some improvements with movements and think that the therapy is really helping me in getting back to shape. I am still bothered that this office just seems generally disorganized when I arrive and on communicating what is expected about the therapy process. I could not imagine being older and not understanding what was needed to get the best results from my therapy. I am happy with the Physical Therapist I have, but feel like all the non medical staff needs to learn more about the business to have better customer service. Few more weeks and I trade this office for my Gym.

Had 7 visits that cost me $600 and only to feel in worse shape than before I first visited. After a second evaluation they wanted an additional $2K to start a new rehab plan. Further more they wanted to give me a small % discount if i paid upfront, kinda felt like a used car lot. Its been two weeks since they tried to get me to buy into their plan and I haven't been back. No one from this office has attempted to reach out to check on how i was doing.

I called Dr. Kimberlain's office based off his 5-star rating on other review sites early morning to see if they could make space for both of us that same day. Surprisingly, his admin was extremely friendly and professional, answered all of my questions and generally made me feel very comfortable. We arrived on-time to our appointments but had a mountain of paperwork to fill out with numerous questions, which pushed back our time by 30-40 minutes. I was nervous the doctor would be upset with us but he treated us in a very positive demeanor and took great care of us. The office was clean and comfortable, the staff was fantastic and the doctor was thorough. I asked many questions and he took the time to answer everything in detail, knowing full well that we probably wouldn't be returning patients considering we are from a different state. Lastly, I want to say you don't see many reviews on my profile - there's a reason for that. It's a much smaller facility than Crestwood, but it has everything anyone would need. They use all the Covid protocols so after I washed my hands, got my blood pressure and temp taken I was introduced to my Therapist, Rebecah. She took me through a series of questions and then laid out a program she feels will help heal my shoulder and get me back to being able to use my right arm as I should. She put me through a 30 minute workout that made my shoulder really feel good. She then showed me an app for my phone called MedBridge Go. It allows me to do a set of exercises, with a video, at home. I'm glad I made the switch.
