Disappointea.... On…read moreTuesday, July 22nd, we did walk in at around 6:15. But doors were still open and lights fully on. My wife's bike chain on her beach cruiser had broken and we noticed his shop still open. I was met as soon as I walked in and the man seemed to be bothered by me walking in. He did greet and ask if he could help and I explained the situation and asked him if he had the chain. He acknowledged he did but asked if I was going to put it on myself. I said doesn't he install and he said yes but they "were already closed" He then tells me it has to be cut Needless to say he keep just shooting me down. I explained we need to walk 7 miles if he couldn't help us and he just said we could catch the bus they have bike racks. I get that it was after closing time but having doors open gives the impression that you are still open for business and you are willing to make a sale but that was not the case in this situation. This has been the only negative experience we have had while out here. It may not have been a huge sale but ended up purchasing 2 new chains as I ended up getting a new one for my bike also as well as a bike seat, cell phone holder and mirror. All in all it was $175 but glad my wife has her bike up and rolling like new. Thank goodness we were able to find that other bike shop the next morning and were able to continue enjoying our bike riding throughout the city.

Service after the sale? YES…read more I felt a bit silly afterwards, but these new e-bikes are complex beasts that I hesitate to tweak without knowing how to. These share only basic DNA with the Huffy and Schwinn bikes I grew up riding and tricking out. I stopped in because something had come loose. Ryan took a look at it, made a quick fix and I was back on the road. I am 100% satisfied with the brands and selection at E-Bike Hub and VERY impressed with the service before and after the sale.

My initial encounter was stellar. I needed new tires and a tune up, so I called. The proceedure…read morewas explained. When I got there I wasnt sure how to get my bike in so I called and a very nice guy told me to park in the loading dock and he would come out and help me with my bike. Cute! I got my bike off my rack all by my lonesome -smile- and waited. The gentleman that came out was very nice and took my bike in and set up my whole repair situation. I felt confident I was in good hands. After missing my bike for a few days, I realized I had no receipt or proof that I had handed over my bike. I remembered something about an email receipt but couldn't find one, so I called. Got their automated phone reply that they would call me. No call. Still missing my bike desperately and worrying about no receipt I called again. Same automated reply that they would call me. On day 10, the estimated finish date, I went down to the shop and parked in the loading dock area and tried to get in. Couldn't so I called, surprisingly they answered, and served up a little attitude about a front door. Whatever! A shorter gentleman let me in and said he hadn't called me back yet, as they are closed on Mondays, it was Tuesday, and the earlier call was not returned either. He let me know the parts just came in and it would probably be done that day. No call. I got an automated text that my bike was ready for pick up...after they had closed for the day. I picked up the following day. Same shorter guy with attitude but I did see the nicer original guy. He apparently doesn't have an issue with people coming and going out the loading dock area and allowed me to take my bike that way, unfortunately I wasn't parked back there, due to attitude guy from day before. The guy with polka dot socks is super nice too. Overall a good experience, and my bike has never been so clean... one star reduction for attitude and no call backs.
