Scam artists. They'll take your money and string you on as long as possible. They'll fight everything you do when you say you got scammed even though you never got a product or any decent customer service. It's really amazing these criminals have their FFL. read more

No order delivered and no refund received. I purchased an "in stock" (according to their website) item. I waited 2 MONTHS to hopefully receive my order, which I was not able to track nor received updates about unless I called in. Then I requested a refund, which Apex said they initiated but I never received. After almost another month I had to file a claim to get my money back. I don't suggest ordering anything online from Apex. They blamed their email system for missed communication, and their financing service for the lack of a refund. If I could give these guys a zero I would. I brought in an antique 1903 Colt. It was in wonderful condition, but the gentleman at Apex said that there was something wrong with the inside of my barrel. Told me to go to Raytown gunsmith to get a note stating that it was safe to shoot. Went to Raytown, and The owner looked at my gun, laughed and actually gave me rounds to shoot the gun myself. The owner at Apex stated that he would buy my gun if I brought back the verification from the gunsmith. When I did so, he said "nah....I'll pass." His ego was hurt so he refused his original offer. Paid for a weapon for over $2k February of 2023. Kept getting excuses and delays until December of 2023. The owner initiated a return of my money on 6 December 2023 because I had enough. it is 5 January 2024 and I still have not received my money back. This is criminal. Had to give at least one star to post. Negative stars for how they handle their business and they are nothing short of con artists. I went in to get a gun that had to be ordered. They assured me that they were a dealer for this type of gun. Paid in full for the gun, and was told 2 weeks. It has been 2 months with no explanation as to where the gun is. first was getting the answer lost in FedEx. Then went to dont know what's going on with it. First off, if its a probelm with FedEx, that is traceable. Second off, to then say you just dont know what's going on with it just means FedEx never had it. But even still, every company has a way to contact them to find out the where about of your order. So not having answers for customers that sank a lot of money into an item you say you ordered but cant account for, is inexcusable. Many other reviews and stories just like mine on google reviews. They seem to just be scamming people. We did not even come to them to order anything. I called to see if they would except a transfer cause we had planned to order it for ourselves. He said we can order that for you and get it faster and cheaper. All lies. I'm starting to understand why they talk people into ordering through them.
