Before entering, a staff member visually inspected the vehicle, found no issues, and waved him through. After the damage occurred, the on-site manager reviewed it and agreed there was no obvious reason the brush should have grabbed the bumper. She filed Incident Report #3391 in their system. Despite this, no one from the local site followed up. I had to contact Whistle's corporate customer care myself to get a response. After asking me to provide photos and basic info, they eventually replied to say the bumper had "pre-existing damage" and they would not accept responsibility. I asked for a copy of the video footage that supposedly showed this "pre-existing damage." They refused to release it without a court order. The damage isn't enough to justify the time and cost of a lawsuit--but it still left me with a car that needs repair and no support from the company. Their refusal to provide video evidence or work toward a resolution shows how they handle claims--by stonewalling. I can't recommend this business, and I won't be returning.

The guy who dried my car took about ten extra minutes to dry my wheels just right- in the process cleaning off everything on this inside lip of the rim that a car wash just can't get. It could've been the fact that I tipped heavily before he started, but I was extremely pleased with the result. I'll be back for the rest of my time at Virginia Tech, just because that one towel dry guy decided to put in some serious work. I know how strenuous cleaning those rims is- they can cut your hands, bruise your wrists, and make you sweat when it's cold out. But these boys know how to work, and they show it. One star off for the entire staff basically sneering at me the whole time I was there- up until I tipped heavy. Minor setback, however, and I assume the staff was mostly college age guys like myself, so I can't hold it against them. They were upfront and honest about everything. I have a beagle/border collie who sheds like no tomorrow and the guy said it would take longer and cost more to guarantee all the dog hair removal. I told him not to worry about it as it would just come back and I just want all the sand out of my car. He said no problem. The attention to detail is amazing and they got pretty much all the dog hair too. Plus, not a grain of sand in sight! They also left it smelling good. All of this plus a very kind staff and a nice waiting area. I got the inside and outside done (including windows!) done for $60 and I gave a $20 tip. Well worth it! Y'all got to try it. I let him know they should not be doing anything but cleaning my vehicle without first getting authorization from the owner. They had another issuse with a customer before me. I tried calling them for 45 minutes prior to their closing to make sure they received my message and to confirm my appointment. Still did not receive an answer. I had requested my appointment for the next day at 11:15 because I had another appointment and was going to be in the area for a few hours. I had arranged for someone to pick me up since they ask you to plan for 4 hours for the detailing to be completed. Got up there and they could not take me because they had 2 others they were working on. I told them about my message and trying to call them repeatedly to no avail. No apology, nothing. The attendant acted like I was bothering him! No way to conduct a business.
