I just brought my vehicle to this car wash and ran it through the washer. It was okay but there are still lots of dirty areas on my car. The vacuum was a complete waste of money. I plugged my quarters in and it seemed to come on but there was no real suction. I could've paid a place with actual employees for almost the same money and gotten a much better outcome.

He works on all my vehicles. Bottom line: Don does solid work at a fair price. You just need to be flexible with him on your schedule and when he can do the work. He's very matter of fact. Some approach business with him by pushing agendas and expectations. Expect push back from him if you do this. If you want someone to tiptoe around your feelings only to upcharge you or fix things that aren't necessary, you'll be better going somewhere else. He may be gruff, but if you go in making a decision to assume he knows his stuff, and not be triggered...you'll find yourself discovering a gem in Don...and you might just make a friend in the process. He's a good dude.

There is no waiting room, no coffee, and the place is basic. The service is top notch.

Was quotes $1,300 and $1,100 by two places near campus in Blacksburg. Went here and they did the work for $700. They suggested I use a "used" part as the car was pretty old. Worked out great. Also, took my car (another time) to a place near blacksburg for a state inspection and they said I needed $450 worth of stuff done. Took it here and they said two of the things were not required for passing inspection and did the last one for $80. It is a little drive from Blacksburg, but worth it! I will also say that my wife loves this place as well. The woman they have working the front desk is super patient and will walk you through repairs as well as give you the "this is what really really really needs to get done" vs "you should probably get this done soon, but you can wait a few months" info. Such a great place.

Stay away. I went in for a simple muffler replacement (verified by 2 other shops). They quoted me…read more$250 & said they had the muffler in stock. When I arrived, Steve said he had it put on a lift and they "discovered" that all of the pipes and joints were so rusty, that he was afraid that when he started cutting into it, that basically the entire undercarriage would have to be replaced : large rear muffler, large front muffler, the small muffler we spoke about, ALL the piping and "probably more". I asked how much and was told "at least $1200". They said they'd order the parts for the next day. When I left, I could hear odd knocking on the bottom and the smell of exhaust in the front cabin that wasn't there before, or ever. I called back the next day to report this and was blown off with "ma'am, you have an exhaust leak and the knocking you are hearing is because you probably drove over something". I knew then they were not on the up and up, so I played along and asked if my parts came in. They said yes, all but one. I asked what they were missing and was told "a part". He kept saying "just a part" but would not tell me WHAT part. Finally I was forceful and told him I needed the name of "the part". . Steve finally said, the Catalytic Converter. Horses***!. He said I needed that too. Tack on another several hundred dollars, plus labor. Scammers! I took it somewhere else the next morning, and the only thing it needed was the muffler, parts & labor $95. I've heard of stories like this, but, wow, the level of deception was criminal.
