My advice is to always check the details in any financial negotiation and make sure they are stacked in YOUR favor, if they are not then move on. Allegiant Partners has terrible customer service. They have huge late fees with zero grace period. When a payment was a day or two late they would not be flexible. We just finished a transaction with Allegiant. It was the first time dealing with them & will also be the last. I was the seller. They sent me an email with paperwork to sign & send back. I took it to my bank to have it looked over, notarized, & signed. One of those papers being a guarantee of title, giving me 20 days to forward the title once the payment was made & cleared. Another email confirmed that it was to be a cashier's check. The inspector showed up to check the truck over, had a company check, and demanded a swap for the title. I refused. Later, they emailed a copy of the check (which, by the way, didn't even have signatures on it), saying I could take it to my bank to verify the account and that it was good. I sat with the lady at the bank while she called number after number, trying to verify. Finally, I came home and kept making calls. Reached the funding dept. of Financial Pacific (who they partner with), I was told by two ladies that the check was written on a "ghost account" and could not be verified by my bank, but PROMISED that the money was there. I don't know how everyone else funds their accounts, but mine is not funded with promises. The following week they overnighted a cashier's check, only for it to "get lost". Absolute worst transaction I've ever had. Monica Coito (funding coordinator) had an atrocious, snarky attitude, placing blame on everyone else, bad-mouthing my bank...even trying to guilt me into releasing the title with the first check - saying that the buyer was going to have to pay another $150 fee for their inspector to come back out with another check. Wait, what? You didn't follow the agreement in any way, but the buyer is being punished for it? Finally completed the deal, the buyer shows up to pick up the truck & shows me an email that he received. Monica's supervisor was berating me for making them jump through so many hoops and that was why this deal was taking so long. From the day the buyer showed up to see the truck & say he wanted it (and had been already told he was approved) to the day I finally received the cashier's check was just over a month. They didn't realize that the buyer and I had been in constant contact, so we both knew it wasn't either of us causing the delays. Wouldn't a wired transfer to my bank have been much simpler & quicker? Like I said...worst transaction ever. We have other equipment for sale, but if anyone even mentions this company - it will be a NO SALE. You should hear the buyer's side of the story...it's so much worse. read more
