This space is now reserved for personal training only. - Cycle studio and floor space is where all of the cardio equipment has moved to - The room on the 1st floor everyone used as a dedicated leg day room is now officially the squats/hip thrusts room - Studio space upstairs (zumba, yoga, etc) is now a turf room with a rowing machine, some medicine balls, etc - Mens showers are closed down - womens seem to be open? They told us the showers are shutting down for good thought - Looks like some of the mats and small equipment is behind the front desk now - just ask and someone will grab it for you Selection of machines and free weights remains solid. They've got everything I need for a good workout. Front desk staff is nice. They play music - not so loud you can't hear your own headphones, but nice if your phone is dead. Everyone seems to "know my name" kind of feel not only from the staff but the members as well. It's like an extended family. When I joined the gym, I wanted to work with a personal trainer to gain strength and get lean, (not to look like a body builder). This began my fitness journey at the end of September 2019, with Kyle Walters. Never did I ever say that I wanted to lose weight. However, with the proper nutrition, meal plans, training, encouragement and accountability from Kyle, I lost a total of 23 lbs and 15" off my body. This all the while as he increased my caloric intake 3 fold, added a cheat meal and drink once a week AND a piece of chocolate after dinner every night for 6 months. My positive results came just in time for a really special trip in February 2020, where I wore my swimsuit with confidence and I never felt better or looked better in my entire adult life. So you…read morecan believe what I am sure is the same disgruntled person who has written the negative reviews or me, another total stranger, but my recommendation is that you stop and in find out for yourself as then you will know which review is the accurate depiction of the place. The gym was clean before and now has more stringent and regular cleaning practices due to CDC recommendations. The towels are clean and changed regularly. This place is not promoted as a spa, it is a gym where equipment gets used for its intended purpose. There are not people there licking the equipment or people stacked on top of each other. The equipment is touched and sat upon and as a mature adult, if I or anyone had a concern about whether the equipment was cleaned after it was used by the last person, there is a stack of clean towels made readily available to grab and clean the equipment before it is used. The gym also has this stuff called soap and hand sanitizer that is also readily available to be used. Issue solved. The owner could not be a nicer man and I respect him for opening up his business as these small businesses need to be open to survive. Many positive upgrades have been made as well during the shut down: sound system, additional equipment, new window blinds and freshly painted walls. These were some of the things that were being done while the other reviewer was complaining about the trainer and members being let into the gym while it was shut down. It was people helping a small business owner plan for his reopening to enable his business to survive...not his being irresponsible and risking lives. The comment about the trainer also could not be farther from the truth. I am one of the many people that he has worked with and helped to lose over 75 lbs and become fit by healthy nutrition counseling an fitness training. He does not just train athletes and body builders, but women and men of all age groups and fitness levels who have various goals that they seek to achieve. I have met many of them and all have and are achieving fantastic results. No supplements, drugs or voodoo. He teaches people how to eat and live a healthy and fit lifestyle. So any comments that elude to anything nefarious going on is just a lie conjured up out of obvious ignorance of him, his credentials and what he truly does. So if you are looking for a positive environment where you will be known by name and the owner, staff and members are friendly, helpful and welcoming and where a sense of community has been built among regulars and newcomers alike, then this is the gym for you. Like anything in life, your experience in the place is what you make of it. Be friendly and you will find friendliness is returned. The studio is super clean since they are very anal about ensuring all equipment goes back in the right spot and teaching/assisting on how to clean up your area so the next person in class has the same perfect experience. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is from being a couch potato, runner, weight lifter, HIIT enthusiast -- Pilates is truly for everyone. My opinions based on the classes/instructors I've taken: Brittany: seriously a badass in everything -- she's who I want to be when I finally grow up...ha! However, my grievance is how they lied about their class packs, overcharged me, and would not respond to me for additional help. I went to an intro class to try something new. I was only in town for a few short weeks, and they advertised a sale for a 4 and 8 pack and stated that it was a one time charge. I paid for a 4 pack and was told I had to fill out paperwork. After paying and signing the forms, the application would not submit unless I entered my card information manually (in hindsight, this should have raised a red flag, but I wanted to trust a business would not lie). The receptionist assured me that it was just a formality and that it would not be a recurring charge. Because of this, there was no discussion of a cancellation process. Imagine my surprise when I left town, and a month later I was charged again. I called the studio twice and was told the manager had to take to cancel it, but she was not currently available and should be in touch. She did text me, but only stating that I had to email them to cancel. I explained that I should not have to cancel since it was advertised a 4 pack and not a subscription and inquired about a refund. The manager ignored my text. I decided to email just to be on the safe side and inquired again about a refund in the email. The manager texted me stating that my email was received and my account would be canceled August 2nd. I responded once again asking about the refund and again explaining the situation and how I was told it was a 4 class package and not a recurring fee. The manager ignored my message again. The manager did text me on a weekend, so I decided to wait until Monday to follow up. I texted once again and explained my situation, and once again I experienced radio silence. The funny thing is, they have no problem calling and texting you to try and get you to buy more classes or participate in their sales. But when it comes to correcting their wrongs, they will completely ghost you. There are plenty of studios who are more deserving of your hard-earned money and actually practice good customer service. To lie about policy and then completely ignore a customer is completely unprofessional and gives scammer vibes. I would be more understanding if they even tried to explain why they would not give a refund, but to completely ignore me is unacceptable.

I thought this class would be a stretch for me since I'm not a runner whatsoever but I was pleasantly surprised. I did have to stand outside since no one was in the studio but I messaged the business on Instagram and they said someone was on the way. Kiera saved me from the Pittsburgh breeze and was so nice and welcoming. She walked me through all the equipment we would be using so I could feel comfortable. The gym also had lockers inside the bathrooms for each gender. The class was a mix of running/sprinting/jogging/walking and ski pulls, and weights. I feel the burn and I know I'm going to be sore for a few days. I also love the cold peppermint towel at the end. It's a nice touch. It was a great start to my day and I can't wait to be in Pittsburgh again to come back.

The community feeling at the gym has been amazing. I've always felt isolated when working out at other gyms so having others around who are new and advanced all working towards improving themselves has been great.
