All the while he tells jokes and stories in his Irish accent, ensuring that I never get bored! His habit of storytelling also helps me get through the high weight reps without counting, so I never feel like giving up. Currently I train with Chuck at the Burbank Athletic Club, but he's been willing to travel to several different gyms over the years, and even to my house for an extra fee. If you're serious about increasing your strength and endurance, or even just in leaning out, I can't recommend him enough!!!

The studio was clean and the low lighting in the ceiling was great to keep the eye strain down. My body noticed I did the work yesterday, but I'm not in pain from overdoing. Drop in was only $10 and it was good until midnight. So if I wanted a two a day session, that would have worked. That's pretty cool. I've never been to a Golds so I'm not too familiar with the basics of each facility. This gym was huge. They could have easily fit more equipment in there, which I think they should. I only saw 3 benches and only one was not an adjustable incline. The incline benches are too tall for me, so I'm glad no one was using the one I needed. Pulleys and free weights we're in great shape, not battered. I appreciated having solid benches. Some places I go to are wiggly and it makes for an interesting inclinded overhead press. Anywho.... Thanks for being there Gold's and thanks for the easy and cheap dropping in! Next time in town I'll stop in. It's good to know there's options when you don't want to take time off from training.
