It was a pleasure having Sean in my home. The twice yearly maintenance contract comes with benefits should the system stop working. Although the fee is a bit high, the service is excellent. The office staff is congenial and booking an appointment is easy. The two a/c UV lights needed replacement and although purchasing them on Amazon was a lot cheaper - a lot - there were too many questions about how well, and/or long they would last, plus other concerns. Hence, Sean installed them and they are good for two years. When I added the cost of the renewal of my two year maintenance contract along with the cost of two bulbs, I was alarmed. Sean spoke with the office and a discount was provided. Although I truly appreciated it, the final amount was still high, but in the end - Lindstrom Air provides a great service.

Our flower cooler wasn't cooling properly. We requested a service call and the owner was nice…read moreenough to send a technician out right away despite their busy schedule. After the technician worked on the cooler and left the cooler was still not working. We called back and the owner sent two technicians who worked inside the cooler for a while who promised our cooler would be cold now. The next morning we came in and everything in the cooler was frozen. The thermostat in the cooler was set at 20 degrees not the 38 degrees we told them it needed to be. There was ice in the flower buckets and all the flowers were frozen. (please see just a few of the photos attached) We contacted the owner and he sent another technician who was confused and in denial of the situation . At that time we gave him the invoices for all the dead flowers that we purchased the day before. The owner called and refused to accept any responsibly for the damage that his employees caused. Instead, he accused our staff of changing the thermostat setting. We had no choice but to call another company who fixed the problem immediately and said that the prior technicians had zero clue what they were doing, Please think twice before you hire this company. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and DO NOT stand behind their work.

This morning, while sitting in traffic near Boca Raton, one of JVAC's marked service vans aggressively used the express lane exit to bypass traffic before forcing its way back into the travel lane. The driver continued all the way to the plastic delineator posts and nearly clipped the mirror off the pickup truck in front of me. It was an incredibly aggressive and disrespectful maneuver that reflected poorly on the company. As a business owner myself, I know employees don't always make the best decisions. I own an electrical contracting company, and if one of my employees was driving one of my marked vehicles like that, I would absolutely want someone to let me know. Insurance is expensive enough, and your company's reputation is too important to have it damaged by careless driving. I called the number on the back of the van expecting at least a little defensiveness, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner answered, listened to my concerns without making excuses, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and assured me he would address the issue with the driver. That level of accountability deserves recognition. We all know how difficult it is to find and keep good employees, and one employee shouldn't necessarily define an entire company. Hopefully this becomes a learning experience for the driver and helps prevent something more serious from happening in the future. While I can't comment on the quality of JVAC's HVAC work, I can say I appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown by the owner when a legitimate concern was brought to his attention.

JVAC was highly responsive, willing to work around our schedule (started at 8 a.m.), and both the value and quality of their work was impeccable. Out of the 12+ companies I contacted on Yelp, JVAC was the ONLY one to offer, not only to clean a VERY clogged dryer vent, but also to open the dryer and remove lint from inside the machine itself! It's a good thing they did, because the inside of the dryer also needed a thorough cleaning. Had I hired anyone else, the issue with the clogged dryer would not have been solved with a simple dryer vent cleaning. The pricing was great, and their work was so thorough and careful that we even tipped them 20% on top of what they quoted. I will also reach out to them for any future needs with any of my South Florida air-conditioning and heating systems (they specialize in HVAC), because if the price-to-quality ratio is even close to what we experienced with this job, I am CERTAIN that they will continue to provide the highest quality service at the best pricing for all of my HVAC needs across South Florida.
