After wanting to go to Italy for 28 yrs we finally decided 2023 was the year. We used Nancy at Anyplace travel, as she came highly recommended as an Italy expert. From the airplane, to our transports to and from each destination , to fantastic hotels, and our tours in each area, Nancys expertise shined through. She said she picked our hotels to be centered in each destination and they were. She gave us plenty of free days to go venture on our own. Her recommendations for places to eat or other things to see were spot on. Our hotels were clean, beautiful with breathtaking views, centered in each area so rarely a need to cab. Pick ups to tours or changing cities made our trip smooth without being challenging since we had never been to Italy. She told us to get our euros ahead at AAA and we did , cuz the change places in Italy have terrible rates. She says get the best most comfortable shoes and sneakers cuz it's hard walking and lots of it. Such great advice. She arranged our train tickets which was perfect cuz we had no idea what to do and it was done for us! The entire 15 days was a trip of a lifetime. Cooking dinner with an Italian cook on her farm where we ate everything from the farm, to a wine dinner in a vineyard without Nancy we'd have never known to do these. During a pandemic Tracey ignored my 2 emails about refunds. Contacted any place travel email and told them to contact me with zero response as well. Come to find out Tracey changed her email, Who changes their email during a pandemic and doesn't reach out to clients? I emailed the new email and still no response! My flight was canceled, my resort is closed. Zero communication from my travel agent! I contacted gogo vacations who said they got in contact with Tracey and she will be reaching out to me, magically after 3 weeks of being ignored she sends an email to a group of us traveling that night and says we will be charged $200 each for not re booking.The resort isn't charging a penalty fee and neither is gogo vacations! After your terrible customer service, you want to charge me to NOT re book. I want to re book but NOT with your company! My money doesn't feel safe! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!
