I had a great experience ordering flowers via phone during this special time. I didn't go through online system since it didn't offer pickup option, but it is an option with reopening! The owner(she) was very patient taking my phone call, answering my questions about different arrangements, informing which kinds of flowers in that arrangement is unavoidable(not in season), and telling me which kind of flowers she would replace with the missing kind to still make the bouquet perfect! I ordered "sunny dayz" at standard level, and it was already so beautiful, versatile and full! We dropped by to pick up our flowers sharply at the time I asked to, and it was ready on spot. There's no last min waiting. She's the best. Sorry I didn't take a photo of my bouquet as I went straight to the person's house whom I wanted to send these to. But I'll tell you it looks even better than pictures on the website. read more

Horrible woman. Incredibly unprofessional and volatile. Simply does not know how to talk to people. Wish I could give this woman zero stars. Incredibly rude and hostile. Steer clear due to her nasty behavior. My fiancé has spent hundreds in her shop on a weekly basis. We thought to go to her for centerpieces and she was initially amenable. My fiancé talked to her in person and then wrote a follow up email. We stopped by today, Monday July 3rd. We were met with such hostility. She told us to basically get out of her shop and these she couldn't accommodate us for a wedding of more than 150 people, despite having agreed initially. Sad to say she doesn't understand how to handle herself when a customer is in the shop and willing to sign a contract of upwards of a thousand dollars. I don't know if she was under some other type of stress but she was rabid and literally had anger in her eyes, due to the fact we "didn't make an appointment to speak." By the way, the woman had zero customers in her shop. Big surprise. We would have happily spent sixty to eight dollars on a centerpiece, but this woman simply does not know how to act right and have sense. I would think it foolish for anyone to give her the slightest business, let alone be the vendor for an entire wedding. She continues to harass my fiancé and lie and misconstrue who she is. An embarrassment to New Haven. We would never recommend anyone to use her services. Update: She chased us down the street, on our way back from other errands, yelling "You got some nerve, you shit mother fuckers." Classy lady. This woman is dangerous. Beware. read more

I normally do not write bad reviews, but what happened to me yesterday was simply inexplicable and had to be mentioned here for anyone looking to buy flowers. I was sitting in a parking space near this shop in my car eating lunch with my wife, and the owner of the shop pulled up next to us and asked if she could have our spot, I nodded no because we had just started eating. She blocked our car, yelled at us called us "selfish mother F***ers" and when I went into her shop to ask her to please move her car so I could leave, she was extremely rude, swore at me and called me horrible things. I also ordered flowers from this shop 8 months ago and they failed to deliver the flowers at the agreed upon time (something other reviewers have mentioned is an issue with them). When I called and spoke to someone about the timing, the person on the phone berated me and claimed "that is not how flower services work" and then hung up on me. Even though that is how every flower service I have ever ordered from works ??? I decided not to write a negative review of my experience and instead frequent other flower shops, but after yesterday's events I have to say something. read more

She was so diligent and helpful in her answers (I know very little about flowers and had a lot of specific requests) and the bouquets turned out truly so beautifully each night. It's hard to believe the other reviews because from my first interaction with this flower shop it was terrible. I won't get into details but here is only part of the story. I ordered flowers as a surprise for my daughter and gave my number for contact, they called me and asked if she was home, I said I'll call them right back, they said hurry because the driver was about to leave. I called back immediately (she was home, took two seconds to find out). An hour and a half later they still hadn't arrived. I called, they said the driver left them and rang door bell (she doesn't have a doorbell), The same woman I spoke to earlier said when she had called me when the driver was outside (so she had lied). I asked her why she didn't just tell me the flowers were outside or just going to be left, she started screaming at me referring to me as "lady" in a derogatory way. She she was dismissive and vulgar and could not care less. The flowers and balloons were understandably stolen. Not sure why she couldn't tell me they were outside or that they were going to be left. After asking around Yale campus about this shop, my daughter learned they have a terrible reputation and that their flowers are always half dead. I will never order from them for any occasion. I call BS on the five star reviews, they must be phony or friends. read more

This is a poorly ran business that lacks professionalism. The owner and her husband are both rude and disrespectful. Please do not trust them for major events or you will find yourself doing their work for them or hiring someone else last minute. They do NOT abide by signed contracts and are horrible in their correspondences. One evening I went there to discuss the status of my floral arrangements for an event and there was beer bottles, wine bottles and pizza boxes all over the place. They are relatively new in the business which explains a lot however is no excuse for their behavior and lack thereof. read more
