I kept telling her that I could not breathe and she did nothing. She chalked it up to me just being pregnant. Throughout my entire pregnancy I could not breathe, just sitting on the couch I felt like I was going to pass out. After I was discharged from the hospital after having my son, I had to be rushed to the ER. My breathing was worse than before. The doctors at Abilene Regional ER found that I had water on my heart and lungs, and were appalled that my OB/GYN discharged me with water on my heart and lungs.I had to stay in the hospital for several days while they monitored me and tried to get the fluid off of my heart and lungs. An EKG was done and Dr. Garner was supposed to give me my results which failed to happen. I called her office to find out my results, and found out that they had my result for WEEKS and just sat on them. During that call, I asked for Dr. Garner to call me back which never happened. Instead, she fired me as her patient. Per her office staff, I was just supposed to "assume" that my heart was ok due to her not calling me to tell me my results.

The best part is they got me in the same day they got the order from my doctor and my pre authorization from the insurance! Oh yeah did I mention they are even open on weekends and evenings???? I didn't have a stat on my MRI, but I left with the disc and they had my full radiology report the next afternoon. AMAZING!!!! I was so frustrated with the hospital here, because I went to the ER in severe pain and all I got was a pain shot. No X-rays, no scans, nothing to explain the excruciating pain I was in because they had deemed me a "non emergency". Well, turns out I have multiple bulging discs and a bone spur. Thank you medical diagnostics for getting me seen so I could get into my spine doctor the next day.

Yep, they are so busy they stay open that late. And there were people after me! Medical paperwork has gone crazy, and this place is no different. I made an appointment, took the paperwork home, and went back the next day. After a 30 minute wait, it only took about 20 minutes, so no complaints there. The staff was friendly and professional. Will I be back? Hope not!
