When we had breaks I came downstairs to the main level for the restroom. Our choices were the larger restrooms at the end of the building or the two gender neutral toward the entrance. While we were in our training, many folks with small children came through as well as school groups. As the day went on those two restrooms by the entrance went downhill. I understand this is more an issue of the general public than the staff. I did not spend time in the museum itself as this was a long day of training. I do recommend if you have interest in flight history. This is a nice museum.

She had just had reverse shoulder replacement surgery on her left arrm. The stairs the exit which was the only exit available! There was no ADA accessible access to the parking lot which we had parked in. Those stairs had been painted to match the paint of the V"an Gogh Blue" marketing schematics, in order to match the exhibit. The stairs she was forced to use, as the only exit accessible, were not only painted dark blue, but also, didn't have a safe handrail for the entire stairwell. The rrailing ends before the last 2 steps of this very very dangerous exit! My mother, 81 years young, took a tumble off of those stairs, and then fell again from those unmasked, unlighted, and dangerous EXIT ONLY stairs, onto the next unmarked curb-to-parking lot. That is about a 1.5 ft curb that's was painted/marked f previously before was a hazard, designated as a no Park no standing fire lane. That City required fire lane designation and safety hazard that's required by the City and county of Denver was painted over by the lighthouse venue to match theVan Gogh dark navy blue exhibit color palette. 100% unacceptable that this happened with such disregard for public safety and those that have disabilities! The staff would not respond to an emergency, when they were allergic to the situation. Paying such an exuberant amount of money for a immersive experience, if that experience is so immersive that it caused bodily damage, they should be response enough to help the people that have paid the money to attend the exhibit. The lack of responsibility, the lack of education of the employees responsible for the safety of the guests, and a lack of not giving a crap about its patients with disabilities is more than disappointing I would highly recommend that any events lighthouse is hosting, whatever it might be, should be ill advised for those with disabilities or a handicap status. They are obviously discriminatory and do not care about the community that deserves I have the same experience that any fully capable individual can experience without a disability. Lighthouse is a irresponsible venue, and a hazard to the community and the health of the artistic community. I would never recommend this venue for any event! The property managers that own the property that is least to Metropolitan State University told us they're not responsible for anything related to the use of this space. City and county of Denver should be appalled at how they're handling this management situation! Disgusting! What money hungry property development / property management company would be so irresponsible not only for the safety of guest visiting and experience within the campus environment, but to the residence of the property. I spoke with numerous individuals it's their safety concerns are never addressed and have been a problem for years now! It's free and you get a free bag of shredded money in the amount of $165, which makes a great souvenir. Take note of their hours: only open on weekdays from 9:30am - 4:00pm. This was our last stop in Denver and it didn't take more than 15 minutes. This is a great alternative to the US Mint. We were not able to get the free tickets to the US Mint, since we were in town during Christmas break and by the time we arrived all the tickets were gone :( The Money Museum is simple and quick. There's no souvenir shop here, but like I said, you get a cool free bag of shredded money :) It's only a slight detour away from 16th Street Mall, plus there's a free 16th Street Mall bus shuttle, so it's super convenient and accessible. We booked the two and a half hour Ghost Tour and Pub Crawl in the LoDo Neighborhood. This not only meant we got to check out some of the cooler bars in the area, but got to hear their history and hear some pretty spooky stories. We stopped at 5 bars/pubs along with a couple stops on the street in between. The guide was very passionate about the history and stories he was telling. He even dressed up in old-timey clothes to set the mood. If we ever go back to Denver, we definitely plan on booking a different tour through Nightly Spirits!

The guide was named Hailey and she was nice enough, but soon it became apparent that there was too much talking on this tour and not enough action. Every ghost or haunting was connected to the brothel industry or a bar and nothing new has been hsunted over the years. The only truly interesting story was of a photo hanging at the Celtic ( where you spend your first 20 minutes). Nothing can be verified though and these stories all seem to handed down via mouth, rather than paper. Another problem was the tour started in one place, but ended in Union Station and if your visiting for the first time like me, she doesn't tell you how to get back to your car. Hailey is clearly underpaid counting on a $10 bonus from the cheap owners of this national company. The tour starts out boring and never recovers. Also, there are some shameful plugs for restaurants that they want you to eat at after you finish. Secretly paid sponsors.

We decided to stop in here and boy o boy are we glad that we did! Listen, this museum is small and the owner, Bruce, is a really cool dude who collects baseball memorabilia! And further, he puts it on display for people like us who just love the game of baseball. Folks...Talking with this guy is a treat! It's as if the true spirit of baseball has embodied itself into this man's core. He just lives and breathes baseball. And it's refreshing! Bruce displays his memorabilia and shares his memories of the game with his guests in such an amazing way. He knows a lot! I can say this...If you love baseball, then you WILL love this museum. That is a guarantee. My son and I got to spend close to three hours going through his museum and sharing stories with Bruce. What a cosmic blast this was! As Bruce might say this, for us, has been "A blessing from the baseball Gods" indeed! While we're not in Denver for long the visit here is officially seeded into my memory bank for sure. I spent 5-10 minutes at first talking with a person at the door about baseball and then met Bruce (owner) towards the end of my visit. He's a wealth of baseball knowledge and a joy to talk to. Lots of unique artifacts from vintage ballparks and teams. It's well worth the $20.00 cash entry to spend some time here. I highly recommend.
