Deerkill is by far the best day camp in the Rockland County area. My kids both learned to swim…read morethere at a very early age and I now have the confidence when we are at the beach or a pool to let them enjoy the water without fear. The staff (from counselors to instructors) is also fantastic and a group of very experienced professionals. The directors are always developing new programs and bringing in the latest activities for campers of all ages. One of the newest additions to the camp is the climbing wall and zip line. My kids could not get enough of them. My kids are also huge fans of animals and the fact that Deerkill has a pony, and a couple of friendly alpacas is a great plus. Overall, I would recommend Deerkill to anyone that would like to provide their kids with the opportunity to have summers they will never forget making life long friends along the way.
