My family and I recently stayed 4 nights here while vacationing. We stayed one night before getting on a cruise ship and then three more afterwards.
The exterior is a nice dark brown wood paneling with these funky cool plastic orange boxes surrounding every other window. This gives it a unique look in general but at night is when it really matters as the panels are backlit and create a series of orange squares all over the building! They offer shuttle services to and from Marco Polo Airport for less than the busses will get you there and they sell all the bus and vaparetto tickets you could want during your time there which is super handy when you consider that the buses only sell passes at night when it's not busy!
Included in your room fees is breakfast from 7-10 am, which is very nicely done with lots of choices in a buffet style. Oh man, the coffee! They have two nice machines that let you choose the style of coffee you'd like and it is good strong stuff! Macchiatos, cappuccinos, espresso, Americano, caffe l'orzo, whatever you'd like is there! The attendants were great and very friendly. They offer dinmer in their dining room from 7-10 pm as well. The prices were very fair for the portion size and the quality. A pizza there is 10€ and the size of a medium here in the States, so sharing one is a good way to save $ but still fill up. There is a fridge in the rooms as well for leftovers! Their wine list is also respectable and what the wife and I enjoyed most about it was 99% of them were wines from the Veneto region, supporting local vineyards!
The beds were quite comfortable and the bathrooms spacious and clean. Room service was pretty good about cleaning and changing linens while we were away
They have a small bar in the lobby that serves a small range of drinks from 7-9 I believe.
The only downside to this hotel that I can think of would be that it is in a residential area, so there's not much for visitors to do or to go outside of the hotel without having to take a form of transportation to another area or Venice propper. Luckily, there are a few good restaurants down the road from it (Colors) and cafés that are within a half mile which is easily done on the sidewalks. However, the upside to its location is that it's directly on the way to the airport, about a 10 minute drive and you dont have to worry about traffic and hustle of the city! read more
