Antonios is the Bomb! I passed by this place quite a few times before trying it a couple years ago and am very sorry I didn't stop sooner. I think it's some of the best Tex-Mex style food around the area and I now travel halfway across Fresno to eat there a couple times a week to prove it. The ingredients are fresh and of good quality, but in my opinion it's their "Que Delicioso" sauces that take the cake. They are so flavorful that It's almost embarrassing how little food is left on my plate when I'm finished each time. Lol. The Staff are all very helpful, friendly and pleasant and everyone seems genuinely happy that you're there. I would strongly suggest to anyone who reads this to give it a try and I guarantee who will be a fan as well. P.S. - Definitely try the Flan, it's some of the best I've ever had. Had to update the review, as we've learned our lesson of arriving close to closing. The portions here for the burrito bowl are hit and miss but the way everything is cooked is consistent. Sometimes portions are generous and other times it's less than Chipotle. They can get really busy during the holidays and even sold out of food on Cinco de Mayo!! CRAZY!! The service here is good. Great wet chile verde burrito here today. The plate was hot, the food was HOT and there was no issue with temps like I'd had in the past. Why must your food taste better and better? The extra onions that I ordered both inside and out did not arrive in my dish. Next time I'll simply make better eye contact and get all 'Svengali-like.' My wife and I have tried several take out and delivery Mexican restaurants during quarantine, and each time we've been disappointed, even by our usuals. We tend to stick with casual eats when it comes to Mexican food because we enjoy the lack of unnecessary fancy fanfare that comes with its humble homeyness. In this last year Antonio's has been the only restaurant to deliver on its promises, it's fast Mexican food. We've ordered several items on different occasions and even though each hasn't been without its faults, they have never lacked in flavor. So far we've enjoyed their nachos, burritos, and enchiladas. Are the burritos wrapped well? No, I've needed a fork and knife every time. Are the portion sizes disproportionate and inconsistent? Yes, but they tend to lean towards complimentary supersizing. Is it "authentic"? Not really, but you're eating at a place called Mex-Express, so you do the math. Is it tasty? Yes! If you're looking for the perfect Mexican restaurant this isn't it, but if you're looking for a consistently tasty Mexicanish dish, then Antonio's is right for you. I wasn't a huge fan the first time I came here, but it wasn't bad so we returned. On this last visit I switched up my order a bit and got a shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada. The shredded beef taco was perfect!!!!!! The meat the moist and perfectly seasoned. The enchilada has a tomato-y kinda sauce which isn't the tastiest, but it's also really good at the same time, so as long as you're not expecting a red chile sauce, you're good. The service is friendly and fast! We ordered and our food was out within ten minutes(maybe even less!) The restaurant is super casual and good for groups and families. Bonus, you order at the counter, so if you're with a group you won't have to worry about figuring out the bill afterwards. They also have daily specials and kids eat free days! read more

Antonio's has easily become my default breakfast spot in the past month since trying their food. The chorizó breakfast burrito is amazing on it's own but adding guacamole and sour cream take it to another level. The tamales are also delicious. Usually good but I recommend going in to order. Using delivery apps there is no option to request guacamole, and apparently they don't consider guacamole a required element of ordering taquitos. Also ordered boiled beans and they gave us refried. When going in or calling your order in usually you get everything you ask for. Great tasting food and reasonably priced. I used to frequent this location. It seems to have picked up in business which is always a good thing! Its called Antonio's express, and for the most part it is. But if there's more then a few people in line to order get ready to wait a bit. With only one cash register it can really hold things up. The food is ok. I'm not a fan of the carne Asada. In fact, I feel like all of their meat is marinated in the same stuff. I do like the breakfast burritos tho! Chile Verde used to be tender and moist, not to mention the pork to chile ratio was ideal. Today, it was all chile and no pork. The pieces that were in there were the size of cheerios and the three large pieces were pure fat... I like the fat too, but that's not supposed to be the main meal. We spent $45 today for two plates and a kids bean burrito. Usually we pay $30 AND that included a beer. Today I didn't get the beer but I paid 150% more. I threw my plate away and I never waste food. It was that bad. Not sure what happened but everything was different. Flavors, quantities, price, etc. The tortillas weren't even the same. Service was great, but not the food. The setting is nice with indoor and outdoor options. I'm hopeful that the normal cook was just out today, but that wouldn't explain the price hike. Good flavor, and fast/friendly/efficient service. The food is a bit salty, but isn't too greasy. You get a decent amount of food for the price paid. The appetizers are a bit basic--things I can make at home (so I usually skip). I've never eaten in, although the dining room is usually at least half full. Instead, I usually place an order to go and come pick it up. I love the Albondigas soup and their chile relleno. Not the biggest fan of the salsa, but it is alright (I'm pretty selective, salsa-wise). If you are a fan of Antonio's over in the Villagio across from Riverpark, this place won't disappoint. read more

Went here at 11am right when they opened to try Taco Tues in which they sell their tacos at half price. I was kinda leary about it because #1. It wasnt an OG eatery in the hood like the Eastside and #2. there's a REASON why they sell it at half price. I got a total of 10 tacos and a side of beans and rice. The bill came out to 25 bucks. And the ONLY taco that was good was the carnitas taco. It was semi juicy and had SOME flavor to the meat. Unfortunately that was the ONLY carnitas I got. The rest were asada meat and grilled chicken which were ALL SUPER DRY. As in beef jerky level. ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR TO THE MEAT AT ALL. It got to the point where I ended up leaving the other 6 tacos on the table because they were soo dry. I had to drink a gallon of water just to get 4 tacos down!! Ill NEVER go back there again.
