I asked for a simple blow out and light product on my hair. When the stylist was drying my hair I thought I smelled something strange. The entire day I could smell a strong solution and I just thought it was the smell of whatever product he used like a mousse or a gel or a kind of anti-frizz product. Not any of those. The guy used perm solution in my hair and I smelled the strong smell of it when I washed my hair the following morning. My hair was over processed and fried and it took weeks to get the strange smell out. It was if he used a perm solution on my hair. I just had 4 inches cut off my hair days before this trip so I knew it was healthy and it great condition when I got to Manila. Now, 3 weeks later my hair isn't the same. It feels dry and it tangles easily. Terrible experience. Never coming back here again.

I need my hair to look good…read more Going to a strict all girls school for college after being a bit wild in high school, made me think of random ways to express myself. The only way I could be different from everyone else in college (we had the same uniform and same old black shoes) was to color my hair. And no, not just any color. I got it to be blue. I almost got kicked out of school and finally I had to have my blue colored hair removed. I opted to shock the school by shaving my head. Yup, I had it done here in Piandre. I waltzed right in and told them I needed my head shaved. The kind staff talked me out of it and told me it wouldn't grow back the same. I didn't go exactly bald. There was still hair on my head when I left the salon, but a few more centimeters and I would be considered bald. I love this salon because when my hair started to grow back, they made sure I didn't look stupid. They'd cut the odd and random hair that would stick out. They helped me dye my hair blond when it all grew back. And they helped me get rid of all the dye on my hair in time for graduation.
