Most people don't understand true generosity…read more To understand true generosity, you must train your greedy human self to understand and accept that nothing really belongs to you anyway. Then when you see a need, you give and giving is pure and natural and normal and you never look back - with no desire whatsoever that you will or should expect anything in return. And when you get to that place of unconstrained giving, you will live a better kind of life where you are second - second to the god man and second to other imperfect human beings. And that perspective, that philosophy, must become the natural rhythm of your human being life, being spontaneously generous in the moment, and not waiting for some imaginary perfect moment, but instead meeting needs when you see them. I like the way theologian John Wesley put it; "Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can." But most people don't understand true generosity, anyway. - Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway.

DeFrance Antique Mall has quickly become one of my FAVORITE finds since moving to the area!…read more If you love vintage, mid-century, rattan, funky one-of-a-kind pieces, and furniture that -- most importantly -- DOES NOT ARRIVE IN 47 PIECES WITH AN ALLEN WRENCH, this is your place. I've already found some amazing furniture and décor here for our new house, and every time I walk through I spot something else I didn't know I needed. There are so many different vendors and styles that it feels more like a treasure hunt than shopping. The prices have been great, the selection is constantly interesting, and I LOVE finding solid, unique furniture that already has some character and history -- and requires absolutely ZERO assembly. Forget the box of mystery screws and the instruction sheet with 26 steps. Give me a fabulous vintage piece I can load up, bring home, and immediately enjoy! I'll definitely be back again and again. At this point, DeFrance may end up furnishing half my house. Highly recommend for fellow treasure hunters!

Pricey YES ($599.99) but worth every penny for the worlds Most awesome dad ever! Greg was our sales assistant & wow WHAT A PLEASURABLE PERSON! He was professional, friendly & such a kind soul. Even here in the south we don't get very much kind hospitality that people assume we southerns have. My son and I had actually been in the shop last Wednesday or Thursday & the sales lady was not engaged nor personable, we left without purchasing. It's difficult to spend our hard earned money when the sales assistant isn't helpful and almost borderline rude, to busy doing nothing to engage to push the sale forward. So happy that Greg was there today when we went by the shop & made our Father's Day purchase such a positive fun experience! Beautiful cooler & awesome sales associate! Kudos to you Greg for being simply kind, YOU are the reason we spent our values $$$ today on a treasured gift for the kids dad. Thank you!
