I couldn't believe how they transformed our home (we are downsizing not dying!) into what looked like a fabulous 3 story antique mall! I felt the pricing was quite fair. Buyers enjoyed the ladies. We were not there at all during the set up and sale which was great. Our goal was to clear out the clutter to sell our home. We did make some money $3000 - but in hindsight I might have donated things instead of done an estate sale because we didn't have many valuable items and I worked so hard before the ladies even came to try to price and organize many many items. However even donating items is a lot of work! Downsizing, if you are collectors and pack rats is hard. Do it while you have the strength! At least 2/3 of our items were sold. Huge help. Keep In mind that furniture can be the hardest thing to sell unless you can easily cart and carry it. These ladies are in my opinion the best in the Denver area!

This last time it took about 40 min to get inside the door and wait time at checkout was about 40 min. The head lady at checkout is the owner I assume. She yelled out several (3-4?) times to the front door keeper "don't let anyone else in"... "if you let someone else in....". I'm thinking wow - she doesn't want more customers in the mostly empty house. She doesn't get it that the hold-up is HER and her methods. They write down the item prices on a piece of paper, then add the items up on a calculator. I think if they had a register it would be more efficient. Or maybe someone going through the line and adding up prices before getting to checkout. Very very very inefficient. She even told one customer, "just put the SHIT on the floor", because the table was getting crowded. She said to one customer - "we are not incompetent, we are just frustrated". She's the owner and she has control of how things work. I think she just doesn't know a better way to operate with high volume of people. There was at least 5 workers there - 2 at checkout, 1 door keeper, 1 guy in garage, 1 lady floating around. I have been to many estate sales over the past year with about 12 companies that I keep a record of - for prices and overall experience so I have a good basis to rate them. I would NEVER hire her for a sale - the home owner will likely lose out on sales. Ok but with all that said, she does offer fair prices on most items. I think it was the 3rd day with 50% off. We spent 2 hrs there, mostly in line waiting. If you see something and want to spend hours there it could be worth your time. Overall experience - this company gets a 1.

This estate seller, Jackie, seemed to be overwhelmed with her job as estate sale organizer. The…read moresale process was extremely lengthy, with customers waiting in line for 90 minutes on the first day and thten an additional 30 minutes to check out (and that was even over an hour past sale start time). Time aside, however - this estate sale company gave me some really strange vibes and I would never hire a company like theirs to handle my estate due to their unprofessional manner. They made disparaging comments about the property owners to sale customers, and also seemed to be venting their own personal frustration on customers as well. They also had a case of "precious" items (sterling and the like) which was sitting right next to the sale runner at the checkout table, with a blanket covering the top. Although many people asked about it, they never did offer any of it up for sale, stating it "wasn't worth [her] time to price it', as "[she] only had a very small scale and since the price of silver had changed so much recently, [she'd] just 'take it to her guy'". Really unfortunate for the estate owners; I can't imagine how much they might have lost out on due to this company's priorities.

What's great about this strip is that in about 8 blocks, there is a whole condensed area of really…read morecool antique shops. Supposedly, this area is the epicenter of US Victorian antiques. It is cool to pursue these shops and find the old remnants of the Victorian age and the west. I have lived here for 19 years, and this strip has changed. Recently, there have been tons of little great restaurants popping up (Maria Empanada, Adelito), very cool little bars ( Black Crown), Coffee shops (Corvus roasters) and also, well, lots of pot shops- can't say much about those. Also a bit of a sketch factor that is cleaning up, but still sketchy especially around Iowa St & Herman's Hideaway. Vintage and thrift shops abound along this strip as well- a great destination for your 1980's collecting is Fifty Two 80's A Totally Awesome Shop. For your costume needs, try Regal Vintage. I avoid Flossy McGrews, and it may even be gone. Terrifying store. But that's the fun of it! The ARC thrift store is actually amazing- a true charity, well run, cleaner, well organized with awesome finds!! My favorites are the Scandinavian Antique Shop and El Paso Imports. Happy Antiquing!

I ended up with a few Native American pieces I'm excited about, things I wouldn't have found easily elsewhere. Most auction items go for high prices, the tax and buyer premium is added in on top of that, so to get home and find chipped items and "deer" that were listed as "bunnies" is annoying. Some fabric pieces purchased were used to wrap glassware meaning they were totally wrinkled and not new looking anymore. Either use paper to wrap or leave the buyer to wrap their own purchases. On the bright side, the check out process was swift and well organized.

(I have the receipt). Attached is a pic of the bracelet. The guy that I spoke to looked at the bracelet and said, the curb link chain has been added to the bracelet and the bracelet has been custom made. No shit Sherlock. I told him that as I was taking it out of the box. Then he said, I wouldn't be interested in this piece. Next, I took out a beautiful watch and he took a brief look at it and said, there's been some wear on the buckle clasp so I wouldn't be interested. Of course there has been a little wear, it's a wrist watch however there want that much wear because I have only worn it twice. This guy had MAJOR attitude and it's like he didn't even want to be bothered. Pawning is a sensitive issue for everyone however this jerk has lost touch with that and shouldn't be involved with any facet of customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
