This stores has a wide variety of very cool mid century items and they are all in excellent condition. The store is well organized and kept meticulously clean. My only thing I must warn about that if you use Google Maps on your phone and type in the name of this store, it will automatically direct you to some residential neighborhood thats about a mile away from the store. Besides the little Google Map error it was well worth the trip. The guy working was really easy to deal with and helped load the stuff into my truck so it wouldn't get damaged during the trip back home.

This mall is sort of hit or miss with me. There have been occasions where I have offered a…read moredifferent price, and the shop owners have called, and other times when they have refused to call. Maybe you just need to catch them in the right mood. Also, we once inquired about procuring a booth to sell glass insulators (the things you see on telephone poles). They asked what else we'd have in out booth, and when they were told "nothing - that's it", they turned us down because they wanted more variety. Yet, at the time, there was a vendor with nothing but egg cups right inside the front door, another vendor with nothing but Pez dispensers, and a third with only restored coffee grinders. Maybe they just didn't see the use or beauty of insulators like we do. Hey - don't laugh! Some have sold for more than $35,000 each! In any event, despite all of that, we still make a point to stop there on the way to our ACTUAL destination of Indian Oaks Antique Mall in Bourbonnais. Sometimes we find some real treasures there. You just never know!

What a fabulous venue for our baby shower event!…read more If you're looking for a truly special venue, Blue Moon Barn and Vintage Market is an absolute hidden gem just over the Illinois border and south of Lake Michigan in Westfield, Indiana. Tucked away down a quiet, tree-lined country road setting feels beautifully remote--peaceful, private, and full of charm. So very worth the drive! The barn itself is nothing short of magnificent. With soaring two-story beamed ceilings and thoughtfully curated décor, every corner is filled with unique vintage finds sourced from around the world. The creative lighting alone is stunning and creates an unforgettable atmosphere, whether you're hosting a daytime gathering or an evening event. There is even an Airbnb guest apartment inside the barn! Inside, the over 5000 sq feet of event space is both elegant and functional. The long, 12-foot wooden tables add to the rustic sophistication, and the full-service kitchen makes hosting seamless. There's also plenty of parking, which makes things easy for guests--something I've found is often overlooked but so important. What truly sets this place apart is its heart. The property is situated on an 80-acre animal rescue acreage, and the events hosted there help support that meaningful mission--something as a guest I felt good about being part of. And a special mention goes to Jen, the hostess, who is warm, incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Her attention to detail and genuine care make the entire experience even more memorable. In my opinion, whether you're planning a special event, wedding, or simply visiting, Blue Moon Barn offers a one-of-a-kind experience that blends rustic beauty, thoughtful design, and purpose in the most wonderful way.

There are some very nice mahogany and walnut pieces. I need to save up some cash. The building is really quite deceiving, there is just room after room to walk through. I really thing things were priced to sell. Some if the things were priced similar to what you would pay for a cheap modern day made-in-China piece. But as you carefully use some of these pieces they only appreciate in value instead. This is a must see shop. Give them a call ahead to see if they are open. It's owner operated without outside help so there are times they need to close up shop for the day.

I felt like I was in a museum because items offered were hundreds of years old and most I have never seen for sale before. Their Toby mug collections were incredible and all the items I saw were fairly priced considering the age and value. people commented on their post that the store was too crowded with items but I loved that about the store. I spent over an hour just looking at all these incredible treasures and loved every minute of it. I wished there were more items crammed in this vast store so I could have stayed all day. The owner is an absolutely darling man who is so knowledgeable and friendly. I love to look at all the items but am not looking for expensive stuff and he didn't seem to mind that my purchase didn't amount to more than $20.00. I got an awesome Carnival glass cake plate for $9.00 and a Fire king bowl for $5.00... both were a great deal. check this place out because it is a hidden treasure for antiques!

You'll definitely need at least an hour and a half to make it through the whole marketplace, because it's jam packed with antiquities. The room you initially enter was originally built in 1853 and was the First Congregational Church of Crete. You can see this in the architecture and the stained glass windows which still bear the names of the family's who paid for the windows. Most of my postcard collection comes from this shop, as they always have some of the most beautiful and unique vintage postcards I've ever seen. The pricing has gone up a bit I've noticed, but not to anything unreasonable. If you visit in summer, the front is a bit warmer than as you make your way throughout, but still worth the visit. They have all kinds of little bits and bobs everywhere, and there's something for everyone there. I'm looking forward to my next visit home so my dad and I can go Christmas shopping.
