Their estimator arrived on schedule within a day or two after calling the office. While they can't say exactly when they will arrive to take care of your trees on the estimate, they do provide a promise to complete the work within a set period of time. Our jobs were not urgent, but in an emergency I would trust them to come quickly. In terms of tending to the trees, they are fast, efficient and totally professional. They have the equipment to handle huge trees in difficult situations (on steep terrain or close to structures). It may not be cheap to take down and remove large trees that are threatening to topple on the roof of one's home--but it's worth every penny and a costs lot less expensive repairing your house! I highly recommend Foley's Tree Service!

When they came to pick it up made divots in the lawn about 6 inches deep and made no attempt to reverse their damage which cost me. But they did want their money. When I complained I got no response. But they got their money. Worse. Service. Ever. And I have had 3 trees taken off my property. I hired Boyd's tree service to cut, remove and grind out 2 large pines, topsoil and seed the areas…read more I specifically asked him, "does that stump grinding quote include all the cleanup, chip removal, and leveling ground to the surrounding area? Just want to make sure because I'm in a wheelchair and cannot do that stuff myself". And, "So to make it look like the trees were never there, it'll be $1,900? How soon can you do it?" They left a very large root sticking up out of the soil on one of them and a big part of the actual stump on the other one was not ground down below the surrounding ground surface and they just covered it up. There were wood chips all over my yard and driveway. There were 1-1/2 inch rock around the trees. When they left, there were rocks all over my yard, way away from where they were working! They were suppose to seed it as well and did not do that either. I text him multiple times to try to find out when he could come back and finish their incomplete job. He ignored my messages a couple times, which is not unusual because I had to text him multiple times to get him to answer me on several other occasions. The owner left about 2 hours before his workers were done and unfortunately I paid him the remaining balance before the work was completely finished. And now I cannot get him to come back and finish grinding the stump out. He also had to return to my father's house to regrind stumps! Just a word of caution if you hire them! I will say, they did a good job cutting the trees down but that's where the good job ended! And now I have to hire someone else to come finish their incomplete stump grinding job. And I had to hire a kid to come help my father rake up all the rock and wood chips, so my lawn mower didn't get damaged or shoot a rock at my neighbors car or house! You can see for yourself, in these pictures, all of these things I've mentioned above. This is what Boyd's considers a finished job!
