This is a bit of a hike from the bus/train/boats and can easily be missed, if you're not careful. Though if you are looking, there is a banner hanging higher on the building to assist.
Giorgia was available to check in and went over everything. She provides water and some basics (tea, coffee, biscuits) for anytime access, which is nice. She is there serving breakfast from 8-9:30am. Then you do not see her. If you are looking for a more hands on B&B, this is not for you.
The place has been beautifully remodeled and the rooms are spacious, clean and nicely done. Air conditioning worked well too and you have the control in your room.
Breakfast is pretty basic. A lot of pre-packaged type of items but there are plenty there. You are not getting anything homemade. She will make espresso or cappuccino for you, if requested. The espresso was good. The cappuccino was weak and being it was my last 2 days of 14 in Italy, I could tell and it left me wanting more when venturing out.
A nice touch was that there was candy in the room that my husband liked. I asked where we could get it and she explained it was on the main land and we would not have been able to go get any. She knew that and when we checked out, she gave us a bag. I thought that was really kind of her and just that little above and beyond.
Overall, a great experience. read more
