I am staying in an AirB&B on the Carreteria street for a few days with my best friend. After a day of lounging in the sun, we didn't feel like heading out for dinner anymore. At 20:30 I headed out, after having heard good things about Ciao Carreteria from friends that live in Malaga. I asked (in very rusty Spanish) whether it would be possible to get two pizzas as a take away. The lovely fellow near the bar said of course, let me sit down and offered me a free beverage. My waiting time (for a pizza prosciutto and a pizza quattro formaggi) was very short - 10 minutes tops. It was super reasonably priced, and upon leaving, one of the waitresses brought me a plastic bag with a free bottle of red wine in it. All in all, a lovely experience. The dough is genuinely what you expect an authentic Italian pizza to taste like, all the ingredients are fresh and the staff is delightful. During my next visit to Malaga, these guys 100% get my custom!
