After talking with me for 45 minutes or more I felt unheard as the doctor did not address my urgent complaints of abdominal pain, malnutrition and weight loss. Instead he prescribed a food protein sensitivity saliva test without any other adjunctive therapy than to eat lots of protein and lots of brightly colored vegetables. The printed test instructions in the box did not match what he told me to eat. Nor did the handout instructions he gave me match the printed instructions in the box. After much confusion I called back and left a message that was returned in a day or two with instructions to eat all the common allergens in the standard American diet. In my visit I had told the doctor I didn't really eat those because they make me very sick. A lot of other bad noise aside, I was informed that I did not test positive for any of the four protein sensitivities and that the doctor had absolutely nothing else to offer me.... That he wasn't sure what I wanted from him... Has he seen his own website and all of the different options there are two evaluate your health? I remember being very clear that I'm in a lot of pain and nausea and I can't eat much and I'm week and have lost 30 pounds in the last six months. I need a new primary care physician to oversee the process of restoring balance and function to my body. Seems clear enough. I feel Dr. Morgan's over casual manner missed the boat to facilitate my balanced health. Who sits in a lazy boy with their feet up doing an intake without ever physically assessing the patient? I would not recommend this doctor as he does not see the entire picture as a functional medicinist should and very easily lets his personal feelings get in the way of objective patient assessment and treatment. I booked a session with Janet because I was carrying an enormous amount of grief, heartbreak, anxiety, and stress. I hoped for some peace and emotional healing. I absolutely did not expect what happened next! I've had an excruciatingly painful frozen shoulder for more than five years. I've had severe hip and knee pain for a decade. After my session yesterday, I can lift my arm completely over my head, reach it behind me, and move it in ways I haven't been able to without pain in YEARS. My hips and knees are about 95% pain-free. My teenager and I must have said, "WHAT THE F*CK?!" at least a dozen times yesterday.
