This is the spot in Spokane for Acai bowls. There are lots of other offerings here too such as smoothies and juices but the Acai bowl always calls me. You can get fancy with other varieties but for the classic style, the Berry bowl is the way to go. You can get a small for 6 dollars or a large for 9. The large is basically a meal replacement since it's quite a bit so you definitely get your money's worth here. I like Wellness Tree because of the variety in their bowls, they have the standard Acai purée mixed with hemp milk, topped with bananas, strawberries granola, honey, bee pollen and gogi berries. The bee pollen is such a small addition but with the gogi berries, it makes a world of a difference. If you want to get fancy, they have the dragon fruit style bowl as well. If you don't know what dragon fruit is, definitely google it since it's pretty unique. Don't get me wrong, Method (another Acai bowl spot) is cool too but I will usually drive out of my way to go here after the gym and there's free street parking! This spot is nice to eat inside with a fair amount of bar style seating or enjoy the tables outside. You can even walk around with your Acai bowl as Perry street is a great location to explore, especially during the summer with the farmer market and other activities that happen. Although I personally think your money goes the farthest here valuewise and tastewise, feel free to check out other Acai spots in Spokane. I have a feeling you'll end up back here anyway. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Spokane! Located in residential area and interior design is very modern and clean. There are only a few spots to sit inside but people come in and go so it's no biggie. I have been a patron of Wellness Tree several times and each time something with my order has been messed up but I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt because as a solopreneur I understand how difficult it is to own and run a small business. But that can't be the excuse every time. This last experience made it the last time I will give my business to Wellness Tree. I ordered a 3 day juice cleanse on 10/27 on the app. For some reason it charged me for 2 of them. I called immediately and got the answering machine so I left a message. No one called back. The next day before going to pick up my juices I called and told the girl who answered the phone what happened. She said she would take care of it and they would refund me when I came in to pick up my cleanse. When I got there I found out they can't give me the refund "because you ordered on the app and we don't know how to refund that without it messing up the books.". Really? Isn't that a basic thing to know how to do? After conferring with another girl they both decided that the Dr would have to handle the refund but she was in with a patient so they would have her call me ASAP. Friday - no call. Saturday - no call. Sunday - no call. Monday - closed. Tuesday (11/2) I went in to drop off my bottles and told the girl that I never heard from anyone about the refund. She went into the back room and said the note she had left had gotten shuffled under some papers but she would get in front of the Dr as soon as she finished with her patient and have her take care of it and call me. Crickets all day. At 4:45 I called and asked to speak to the manager. The girl told me that the Dr would do the refund tonight or tomorrow and then let me know. I asked her that since I have been waiting a week for the refund can you please ask her to take care of it today and then call me to confirm that she did? The girl said yes and then.......you guessed it, NOTHING. Then finally on 11/3 the Dr calls me to let me know she has sent $150 back to my card and it should show up in the bank in 2-3 business days. I asked her about the tax which would have been $13.62 and she said that would be refunded as well. A couple days later, there is the $150 return change, no tax. Honestly, it is not even worth my time at this point to try and get all of the money owed to me returned. I will no longer do business with Wellness Tree and if you do, proceed with caution and only use cash!! read more

I used to come here all the time and order the large peanut butter bowl. It would be filled to the top of the large container. Now if I order a small and a large and compare them I'm getting the same amount of the açaí berry blend (the smoothie content) in the large as I am in the small with just a bunch more granola. I was personally amazed by the amount of fruits/veggies/herbs that go into each juice. Nearly a large bowl full of natural goodness juiced down into liquid form. I'm definitely getting my recommended daily dose of fruits and veggies with each drink. The owners are super friendly and personable. They warmly greet each customer and make an effort to chat with everyone. I feel that excellent customer service is such an important component to a business so I appreciate the owners' efforts to provide that to their customers. This place does not provide acai bowls. It provides fruit soup. I have never seen a bowl so liquidy - honestly a smoothie has more substance to it than these things. When I asked about it, they said their blenders couldn't make it any other way - get new blenders, then! A spoon was not only not necessary for these bowls but of little use - a straw was needed or just drink out of the bowl like a cup. Yuck. The drinks turned out decently well, but the COVID safety precautions were non-existent. Multiple employees did not wear masks and almost every customer did not have them on as well. They have signs posted about wearing masks but fail to enforce with both the staff and customers. Wow. Went to Wellness Tree today and was shocked to find all 3 women working behind the counter unmasked and interacting with one another and customers. No social distancing whatsoever. I encountered this at Wellness Tree early in COVID, before the mask mandate and stopped going because it didn't seem safe.
