I live in the neighborhood but never used this spa. I was impressed when I walked in. Very classy. They even had a cash bar for husband or those waiting. I did not have an appointment and yet the wait was only two minutes. There were familiar nail technicians from previous spas which I have frequented. I will definitely go back. The prices were similar to other places not as nice as this spa. They also have facial, waxing and other services. I ordered a glass of wine which I paid. It would be a nice touch if the first glass was complimentary. They were complient with respect to the new post Covid 19 protocol. They have clients wash hand and offer mask for those customers who did not wear upon entering the spa. All workers had mask, gloves and a plexiglass protection while having your manicure. My first time here, I went in for a pedicure and a gel manicure, hoping for some nail art. The staff was extremely friendly, and they were very accommodating, However the nail tech, Dina, was the living embodiment IDGAF. First she sort of walked away before I told her what I wanted on my fingernails then I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted. She first said yes, and then told me my nails were too short, But that we could do it. Pedicure first and I was really hoping this would be the most disappointing part of the trip. As she didn't trim or shape my nails, and left a ring of the dark toenail polish I had been wearing around each individual toe along with the new nail polish and cuticle. The sugar scrub was nice, but only lasted a few seconds each leg. Apparently the calluses and dry skin on my feet were so bad that she needed to put an "extra chemical" in the water and have me soak them again before giving me some unsolicited advice on moisturizing before bed. AlLayer, after sort of slapping lotion onto my legs and feet, she put a hot towel over them and immediately slid it off. I'm not kidding. It was like she was trying to make a bed on my legs. She unfurled the top sheet, let it float down to my skin, and then tossed it up again leaving only the whisper of warmth behind. And all of this while I stared at the torn and tattered chairs surrounding us. Next, we went over for the manicure. No mask, because Diana is like honey badger, she used a handheld drill, covered in other people's nail dust to chip away at my old nail polish, my cuticles, and my dignity. Then, Dina brushed all of that away with a nail polish stained makeup brush covered in other people's nail dust. By this point I was unsurprised to find that her workstation was also covered in someone else's nail dust and had been since before I sat down, and even more chairs with holes and other damages. She then asked to see the inspiration picture again. Upon a second review, she said she could not do it, part of it was a sticker, real people can't make exact lines like that, and my nails were just too short. She then suggested instead of doing the whole set that we do just two nails and solid color on the others. After I agreed she told me again that she can't do it because my nails are too short. And told me basically to look up another picture to see if there was something else. By the end, I asked if we could do a French tip with coral and gold. Dina took her time and still managed to end up with nails that have actual lumps in them. I don't know how to make lumps on nails, maybe it's something you pick up as you go. In any case, nails being done, she put some moisturizer on my arms. I say it this way because again the lotion didn't get rubbed in and was immediately wiped off with another hot towel was draped over my arms. This time it was allowed to sit for a full five seconds. At the end of our adventure, Diana stood up and brushed my nail dust onto her workstation and left to take care of the instruments we'ed used. I left her a tip because I'm not a jerk and even Diana needs to eat. Then walked out knowing full well I won't be coming back, which is unfortunate because again, the staff WAS very nice. read more

I have been there in the past and it was wonderful. However, today I was there and I will never be back. I was the only person in the entire place. I came in and requested a hot stone pedicure. The technician talked on her phone to someone the entire time. The water was freezing and the massage chair did not work. She did not use the hot stones and when I checked out and was charged $75 for the hot stone pedicure. I told them I didn't not receive the hot stone massage. The tech said she did it and the other tech who, was in the back room the entire time, said she witnessed me getting the hot stone massage, which was impossible. The guy at the desk said I must have fallen asleep during it which I did not do. He said his tech isn't lying. I said fine, just charge me for it but I won't be back. I had a gel manicure done on Sunday and it was already peeling off on Tuesday. Yes 2 days later, then by the end of that same week all the other fingers peeled off. Gel manicures should last more than 2 days to a week. I am extremely disappointed with AV and will never go there again. Paid $47+tip for nails to last 2 days. read more

Today I stopped in and received some of the best service I've had in the area. The scenery is beautiful and it's a relaxing calm environment. I had to males work on my nails one being that of the manager of the shop and he was extremely polite and even gave advice on how to tend to my nails. He also went on to fix the chop job of a place not to far away. I recommend going on week days. I have been to this place multiple times and never had any issues before -- nail job was fine. This time around, customer service was horrible, dismissing me even though I had an appointment. I said no to cuticle treatment, and my stylist continued to cut them and make my thumb bleed. The nail job was horrible, and the stylist didn't do what I asked of her. I was debating on leaving this review because I also am in the beauty industry but it was just not the best service and Kindof upset of the money I spent and the service I received. Me and my sister went to get pedicures and it was our first time here. it was really nice in side looked clean and they had a lot of options for pedicures. I chose the $65 AV pedicure because it comes with hot stones and an extended massage. My sister got the $42 pedicure. My pedicure was supposed to be 55-65 min (as stated in the brochure) min I assume because it comes with paraffin, sugar scrub, lotion massage, hot stones, hot towel and and extended massage. I kid you she was done with my pedicure by the 45 min mark. The massage was literally 3 min, no pressure or anything whatsoever. It felt like it was just an application and rushed at that. Definitely not worth the price I paid. Not only that I come home and I got a chemical burn from the callus remover. My sisters pedicure she said was good and the guy was really nice and gave a good massage but the polish job was horrible it looks like she did them herself. read more

Went to this nail salon for the first time ever and will never return. Wanted to try this location because it's closer to my home than other nail salons. I'm highly dissatisfied as the nail tech that did my pedicure did a horrible job. There was point during the service I just wanted to run out of the building. I have several nails that my skin was ripped off and i now have scabs plus not to mention she dropped her file on the ground then picked it back up and used it on my pedicure. As someone who is a licensed cosmetologist that is not very sanitary! I really hope this older nail tech gets a refresher on sanitation before things get worse. Absolutely the worst pedicure I have ever received. My best friend and I came to get our toes done together before her bridal shower, from afar they looked okay, however upon further inspection... they are quite disastrous. I went grocery shopping after just to be safe and give them extra time to dry... our appt was at 5:00 pm and I arrived home from the store around 8:45 pm and went to put my own sandals on thinking it was ample time for them to dry, mind you... they were already very streaky and not neatly done. When I put my sandals on I realized my big toe completely smudged off, I grabbed a tissue to see if the other toes were like that as well and they literally all wiped off so easy... over 3 hours later. I came to Anthony Vince looking for a place that offered good dip manicures in the area. I called to make a last minute appointment and they said they could take me right away, which was great. I got there about half an hour before they closed and they were very friendly and made me feel welcome, which was great. The salon itself is beautiful, there's a fountain on the wall in the back which is pretty and the water noise is calming. They have a pretty good selection of colors for dip. Once I sat down to have my nails done, they first had to soak off the dip manicure that I already had on my nails. Once that was done, my tech (I think her name was Yu?) got started on doing my nails. She did a good job making sure I was happy with the work she was doing & was very kind. My nails turned out to be pretty good, but not worth the $50 price tag in my opinion.. it was $5 extra for a gel top coat and $5 extra for the initial soak off, even though that's the only way you can get dip off.. I guess you could do it at home on your own time, but why should you need to? The problem arose when my gel top coat that I paid an extra $5 for started to peel only 3 days after I got my nails done.. 5 different nails had started to peel within 5 days of getting them done. I went back in to the salon to get them fixed and they were very kind about re-doing the gel top coat. BUT.. a few days later it started to peel again! My other dip manicures NEVER had this problem and I am not rough with my nails at all, so it must have something to do with the application. Additionally, about 2 weeks after I first got my nails done, the dip started to lift off of my nails. Again, this has never happened with past dip manicures, and some of them I left on for over 4 weeks! Unfortunately I won't be returning. read more

Not a great pedicure. My cuticles weren't trimmed. There was base coat and polish all over my toes that he cut while pretending to trim the cuticles. The polish (not gel) has bubbles in it and doesn't even cover the whole nail. The "technician" seemed to be in a hurry and scolded me for moving my feet. I won't go back. The first time I came here I got a tip with a dip powder. I was in love. I came back today just to get regular dip powder on my nails. I was going to wait for the guy who originally did my first set but he had somebody in the chair ready and I was in a rush. so I went with somebody else. This time I just got dip powder on my natural nails. The lady who did my nails did a horrible job. She seem to not know what she was doing. When she file my nails it hurt and she file my nails way too low. She also kept messing up on my nails so she had to keep dipping them in the powder. Upon further inspection when I got home I noticed dents in my nails and one of my nails are not fully painted it's missing on the side. I am highly upset with this time around. Next time I know just go ahead and take the time and make an appointment with the person who you originally wanted. Never again. read more

2 weeks ago I walked into this salon to get a full set of acrylic nails put on. my nail tech was very nice but seemed to struggle with getting the tips to stay on. My nails when finished were just ok looking but I left and planned on never going back. Within 2 days my fingers started hurting and I had never experienced that before in my 15 years of wearing acrylic nails. I reached out to my previous nail tech who did my nails for years. She was as stumped as I was and had no idea what could be going on. she suggested just giving it a few days to see if it got better and if not call to another place to have them soaked off then redone. I waited a few more days and it only got worse. At this point the current nails are starting to lift and a few were making a clicking noise. I called a new place which came highly recommende but unfortunately I had to wait a week to get in. yesterday I got these nails soaked off and was horrified at how my natural nails looked. I was informed that my nail beds were sooo badly damaged that I would have to wait around 2 months before getting any new nails put back on so that all of the damage could grow out. so now I have to live with horrible looking hands. I called this salon back to ask for a refund of my $81 ( which wasn't including a tip) and was treated beyond terrible by the assistant manager. I was refused a refund and told I should've went back to them... ummm absolutely not!!! They will never touch me again. Please be ware of going to have any services done here. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

Overall the pedicure was fine but I paid extra for the AV Spa Pedicure which included an extended massage and clay mask. The total of my massage was about 3 minutes and the clay mask wasn't fully rinsed off, which I discovered later. I asked the nail tech for square shape, he gave me round. Squiggly lines and polish on my skin. When he was done, he just said I was done, not to look at them or what I thought. I usually do not leave reviews but I downloaded Yelp to specifically review this place. I went in excited to get my nails done which I do maybe once a year. I wanted a simple ,short, square, and white nails. I left in tears after being charged almost $70 from Tom for a horrible job. He cut my fingers many times with the file trying to get off the gel that he "accidentally" cured to my fingers. My fingers felt so sore afterwards that I didn't want anyone to even touch them. The nail tips that he glued on were way too small for the nail and were popping off while he was trying to apply the acrylic. Then also we cured little hairs into the white gel polish and told me that he could not give me a glitter that was not see through. I did proceed to tip him $15 and pay in full when I was done but I left absolutely upset. I called the next day to get it fixed and the lady that fixed my nails was absolutely rude about the entire situation. She drilled the polish off of my nails and clipped off the layers of acrylic and I told her that it was hurting but she did not seem to care. She gave me another rounded shape and the acrylic still was open where my cuticles were and the nails came off within a week. My natural nails were destroyed by this place and so thin that they were literally bending backward and just ripping off. Even to touch my nails hurt and I had to wear bandaids over them because it was so sensitive. Horrible service here. read more

I frequent this establishment often and have absolutely no complaints. They always do a wonderful job on my nails. Today I called after 4pm and they were nice enough to fit me in for a 6pm mani & pedi, although they closed at 7:30pm. "Louie" was very kind, friendly and professional. He did a wonderful job and gave me maintenance tips. There are 24 chairs and I believe approximately 20 techs. The facility was very clean and my wait was short. I will definitely return! read more

I will never go back! I have been before, and had better experiences . This time was bad. I went with a friend, and during my manicure, the woman who did it not only hurt me, but nicked my finger with her Dremel tool, and made my finger bleed. Then I went for my pedicure. My friend was left with nail polish remover sitting on her toes for over 25 minutes. While the tech work on another person, she never said anything she just left. When my friend told them, they took the nail polish off. She said she had to leave. They offered her no compensation. Then my tech went to put gel on my toes and I told her I didn't want gel She said she would still charge me to takeoff the gel. I told her I didn't have gel on before! I went in for a gel manicure. My cuticles were cut to the point I was bleeding on three fingers. The polish itself wasn't very neat. I think I was being worked on by someone who was being trained, because halfway through, someone else came and took over. What I presume was the manager kept coming over and checking on her, but nothing was ever said about the fact that I was bleeding or that it didn't look very good. I was still charged full price and sent on my way like everything was fine. Make sure you ask for someone experienced if you go. read more

I spent over $70 and got the worst experience. I have never gotten a gel pedicure that when I left, I found later had bumps in it... until now. My toenails must have gotten some debris on them during the polishing process, which the nail tech did not catch. Not only that, but my toenails were not clipped or filed, and when I mentioned it she said it was for the best. They are now uneven looking and jagged and a few aren't even completely covered with polish. There was just water with nothing it in, a first for me after almost 20 years of getting pedicures. I met Stephanie an instantly I was impressed with her demeanor and determination to create the look I was going for! I came back here on another trip this month and came in to see her. Not only did she fit me in but my nails look gorgeous. She makes me laugh, she remembers my story and I absolutely recommend her. The salon is gorgeous and clean. Highly recommend!!! read more
