Dr Sparano is the best. Although he did not perform my Mose surgery, he cleaned up the mess that the first dermatologist left.

I experienced a postoperative staph infection while under the care of Dr. Glicksman, which went…read moreuntreated for two weeks and ultimately necessitated three additional surgeries within the following 12 months. Additionally, a different size implant than the one I consented to was used during the initial surgery. My preoperative intravenous antibiotics were halted shortly after administration due to an allergic reaction. Despite my inquiries to Dr. Glicksman and her nursing staff regarding which intravenous antibiotic would be administered next, medical records indicate that I was never restarted on antibiotics prior to the initial surgery. Three days postoperative, I began to experience symptoms of infection including increased swelling and pain. Even after repeatedly emailing Dr. Glicksman about my worsening symptoms, I wasn't seen in person until eight days postoperative. By then, my symptoms included swelling, pain, body aches, and fever. Dr. Glicksman failed to diagnose the infection and repeatedly expressed disbelief that I had one. Nine days postoperative, I requested for her to prescribe antibiotics but the antibiotics she prescribed did not treat the staph infection. Fourteen days postoperative, due to my insistence, she agreed to perform a second "exploratory" surgery to investigate the cause of my worsening symptoms. By then, the infection had spread to my incision, causing visible cellulitis, and one of my implants had to be removed. Culture results later confirmed that I was suffering from a staph infection. Two days after the second surgery, I went to the ER due to shortness of breath and to seek a second opinion. The following day, Dr. Glicksman received the lab results from the second surgery; however, she declined to prescribe the necessary antibiotics to treat the staph infection, suggesting instead that I consult an allergist and an infectious disease specialist before she would prescribe them. Due to ongoing concern, I immediately sought treatment at the emergency room, where I was promptly started on the appropriate medication for the staph infection. During a Zoom appointment seven days after the second surgery and implant removal, Dr. Glicksman instructed me to cut my own surgical sutures and terminated our treatment relationship, stating that she could not continue with me "running off to the ER," which to me felt like patient abandonment. The experience of losing a breast implant, enduring a staph infection for two weeks, and undergoing repeated revision surgeries has significantly impacted my physical well-being, emotional state, and financial stability. I tried to resolve this issue directly with Dr. Glicksman by requesting a refund for the two surgeries she performed, but my request was denied. I intended to use the funds to help cover the costs of the two additional surgeries necessitated by the infection. Her lack of accountability and compassion throughout this traumatic experience has been incredibly disheartening. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others considering her services.

I'm disappointed with the lack of accountability and would have appreciated more willingness to resolve the issue.

Every time I interact with someone over the phone they sound like I have somehow inconvenienced them. It's ridiculous that their email address and submission form on their website are advertised as ways to get in contact with them when no one responds. I spent well over a month trying to obtain written information on the procedures I have gotten done over the years as something had changed and I had an allergic reaction after my last appointment. Despite this, there was still no urgency on the front desk's end. When I called the first time I was told I would receive a response to my email and it never happened. I called again a few days later and the same thing was said and I still have nothing. Not to mention both people I spoke with were far from friendly or helpful. The poor customer service, as well as countless issues I have had with my filler and premature migration, is what made me switch practices. Nicole told me that my filler migration was my fault because of my anatomy. What's insane is she still offered to add more filler if I wanted. I received a second opinion from someone much more experienced and learned it's a technique issue and based on pictures I have, I had migration VERY early on. Nicole made me pay to get it dissolved when the migration wasn't my fault. Nicole also not only injected me with an active cold sore which led to an infection, but I had a scary occlusion because of her work. Her lack of patient education and one size fits all mentality is scary. Please do your research before coming here. I had one awful experience after another and am now with the most incredible injector elsewhere. I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

As a regular customer they should know my units by now. But I have gone elsewhere and received a lot less units that worked the first time and never had to return for more. How can less units work better? It's because they are telling you you need more when you don't and watering it down. I have heard this from other people as well. Throughout my experience she's been exceptionally receptive and thorough in making sure I'm comfortable and healthy. Her directions are clear and her responses to my questions are plentiful and well-informed. Secondly, she's an absolute artist. Her keen eye took my original idea and added some small but impactful differences to my end result, giving me something better than I could have ever imagined. Her office manager Janetta is equally as dedicated and continued to go out of her way to ensure I was on track and proactively clear about the next steps. This really helped me to feel completely at ease in their hands and look forward to my operation with nothing but excitement and anticipation. Each office visit is an absolute treat thanks to these two. My operation itself was wonderfully efficient with an impressively professional and charmingly tender team of staff ensuring pure comfort and ease. My results are getting more and more beautiful by the day as I heal and I am just over the moon. I feel absolutely stunning in my skin. I cannot recommend Dr. Afridi highly enough. She really listened to my concerns, understood what…read morewas bothering me, and what I was hoping to achieve. She was honest about what was achievable and what was not, which I deeply appreciated. I never felt rushed--she always took her time with me, patiently answering my endless questions. From the very start, she was warm, caring, and reassuring, and I felt like we were true partners in this journey. Beyond her personable approach, Dr. Afridi is an exceptional surgeon. She is meticulous in her work and spent the time needed to make sure everything was done exactly right. It's clear she genuinely cares about achieving the best possible results. From day one, I could tell she was deeply invested in me and went above and beyond to ensure I would be happy with the outcome. I came to her for a very tricky and sensitive procedure: ankle liposuction. This was something I had struggled with for years. No matter how much I exercised, I could never change the shape of this stubborn area, and it always left me feeling self-conscious. It even limited my fashion choices (hello, maxi dresses!)--I spent most of my life trying to cover my legs. Even with all that frustration, the idea of surgery was daunting. I did not want to take unnecessary risks with my health and had decided I would not undergo general anesthesia. Dr. Afridi immediately put me at ease by creating a plan to do the procedure under local anesthesia instead. On the day of surgery, she and her team made me feel completely cared for and supported. I was comfortable the entire time (her nurse even held my hand, which meant so much). The whole experience was far easier than I ever imagined--I had very little pain and was able to walk out of the office the same day. Dr. Afridi's skill and attention to detail were evident throughout, and I always felt safe in her hands. The results? Truly outstanding. For the first time in my life, I feel confident about this part of my body. This wasn't just a surgery--it freed me from years of insecurity. Dr. Afridi is not only a highly skilled surgeon, but also a compassionate partner in her patients' journeys. If you're considering a procedure and want a doctor who is meticulous, caring, and genuinely invested in your outcome, I honestly can't imagine anyone better.
