One company even bid three moving men for this trip. I clearly understand when families move their entire home and all belongings, one may need more movers and time for this process. This furniture had no sentimental value and was not worth $1,200; I simply wanted to utilize something I already had as I do not like to shop. TJ's Services arrived for the pickup and delivered on time. They were very courteous and did a very nice job. I would not hesitate to contact them again if I had any other moving needs.

I found year ago it's best to let experts deal with these sorts of problems. One of the immediate problems I had to deal with when I moved (after the snow melted) was that my yard had a serious weed issue. They were everywhere! On September 8 a lightening storm took our 100 year old tree down on our home leaving us with a huge hole and water in living areas. I called roofers and Steve showed up buttoned down the 2 areas. I didn't see him leave as I was dealing with tree removers. I requested estimates from several companies and went with Buckeye other businesses could not do the job of a full roof replacement til December. Buckeye had the crew and put me on his list for October. His crew came and set up equipment and was ready by the 7:30 appointment time. The crew of 8 worked tirelessly for the day with only taking 1/2 hour break for lunch. I was impressed with how hard they worked, never stopping til they finished. It was a big job on a large 2 story home with addition. They had there system down to a science and left no debris of any kind behind. On top of all they were a pleasant and friendly crew. My home, thankfully is quite warm in the winter due to my furnace and the fact that I have two gas fireplaces. Like anything, though, fireplaces require maintenance. I have not had my fireplace swept/cleaned or had any maintenance performed since I moved here several years ago. I certainly do not know when that was done by the previous owners. I decided it would be a good thing to do so as I had used my main fire place quite extensively last winter and I wanted to be ready for this one. Finding a chimney sweep is a lot harder than I thought. Not a lot of businesses do it, and getting a hold of one was a pain as there were many people wanting them chimneys swept. I asked a friend of mine in the area who he would recommend and he said Showcase. I called them and they gave me an appointment. I was away on a business trip when they came to service my home and so dealt with my family. According to my family, they took some time as my fireplaces had a lot of soot/debris and needed a serious cleaning. The staff were courteous throughout. Definitely will use them routinely to ensure my fireplaces work efficiently and safely.
