This review is way over due. Dr. K saved my life years back and just learned he did the same with my best friends daughter. We had completely different issues, but his authentic care, quick thinking and instinct took over. Alot of women are hesitant to have a male OB/GYN. he is the most kind caring ob/gyn i have had. He is to the point and to me THAT IS GOOD. He will give it to you straight, YET i will always remember right before surgery he came and held my hand as the anastasia was kicking in. I liked the doctor very much and thought he was very thorough with an excellent bedside manner. He found the root cause of my condition that my previous doctor missed. However, his office is difficult to get through to. I don't I don't want to call more than two or three times to get a person! That's why I had to leave my old doctor. Dr. K, as we like to call him is an awesome doctor. He helped my husband and I through our first pregnancy and delivery, he was always available for questions via phone and email. And of course during appointments he took his time to listen to every concern. He has a very nice matter of fact personality, and will be honest in his answering of questions. He will be honest when he doesn't have the answer, which is very reassuring to me. He was also willing, two years later to help with a thyroid issue, even though it's not his specialty. He always is quick on calling with test results, which I've had trouble with the ball being dropped at other offices. He is very devoted and loves his job, I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an Ob-Gyn! read more

I agree with others when they say no compassion no empathy. Just no connection with people. Definitely won't be delivering here, I think a robot would have more personality. Just cold, and I can see where he doesn't need consent to do things. He just jumped from one thing to another without even consulting me! Just made me feel awkward. Yuck. read more

Dr. Clark was my OB but Dr. Kosinski delivered my daughter. Up until my delivery, I had a great experience with them both. Dr. Clark assured me that they do not engage in interventions unless absolutely necessary, and with talking through the options with patients (unless an emergency, of course). We talked about all sorts of potential interventions -- whether pitocin, episiotomies, c-sections, etc. I felt confident in her practice, and that they'd let nature take its course unless something went wrong. I had a pretty normal birth -- 10 hours after my water broke, 7 hours after real contractions started. My problem is that Dr. Kosinski performed an unconsented and undisclosed episiotomy on me when there were absolutely no reasons to do so (baby was not in distress whatsoever). He only told me about it after the fact because he thought she'd "been in there long enough". I pushed for about an hour, and later learned from Dr. Clark that they let women push for 4 hours until discussing interventions. To this day, I have no idea why he did this. My only guess is that it was because he was tired (it was nearly 1 am) and wanted to go home. So he performed the episiotomy to hurry the process. I spoke with Dr. Clark about this the next time I saw her (which was the next day or two) and thought she'd discuss with Dr. K. As far as I know, she never did. When I later got pregnant again, I decided I couldn't go back to them because I couldn't trust them. What else would they do without my knowledge or consent? What if it was something bigger than an episiotomy? What if my baby was injured as a result? What else would they substitute their judgment for instead of mine in a non-emergency situation? I just couldn't take the risk. So, I had to leave the practice. I would not recommend them to others because I don't feel that they have integrity -- in what happened or how they failed to address it after the fact. read more

Dr. Kosinski is truly an amazing doctor. He listened to all my concerns and explained everything in detail to me ( trust me , I had a lot of questions ) . He was kind and professional. His staff and nursing assistants ( Carrie , I believe her name was ) were also wonderful and kind . Listen , I know this is the last place us women want to be ... But , you need to do it . If you are pregnant, please do NOT see this doctor. He has absolutely ZERO compassion or bedside manor for his patients. Pregnancy, especially your first, can be a scary and difficult thing to navigate and this is not the doctor you want by your side. My unborn child was misdiagnosed with intrauterine growth restriction at this office, and I was made to be induced and deliver at 38 weeks at Santa Rosa Memorial by a doctor who I had never met. During my induction at SR Memorial, they performed another ultrasound showing my baby actually weighed 2 lbs more than the ultrasound at Dr. Kosinski's office. My baby was born completely healthy at 6 lbs (not the estimated 4 lbs). After delivery, I had never heard from Dr. Kosinski again. He never once checked on me to see if my delivery went well or if my infant was born healthy. This is absolutely inexcusable and is an extremely low level of patient care. I was not expecting to be coddled by my physician, but I would consider a simple check-in to be basic human care. Please save yourself some time, and go directly to Dr. Kurss in Santa Rosa. He is an incredible doctor who guided me with so much care through my delivery and postpartum care. Go see him instead! read more

I went to this office to see Dr. Clark. I thought she was rude. I went in to go over some lab results and I was nervous and started to ask questions and was talking fast. She snapped at me and said I'm the gynecologist I ask the questions. I'm never going here again! read more

I'm sure Dr. Kosinski is a wonderful doctor for the mommies to be. For older women going through menopause, naturally or surgically, he is rude and condescending! Instead of being compassionate and caring, he can care less. I would never go back to him, ever! read more

Dr. Kosinski and staff especially Sue and Krisina are wonderful!!!! I have really enjoyed being able to go to one doctor for most of my needs. I just switched from kaiser to blueshield insurance and didn't know where to start. I have prescription meds that needed refilling and I didn't have much time to get in somewhere, let alone see multiple doctors. In comes Sue and finds me an appointment and helps save the day! Dr. Kosinski has a special talent of listening to what is going on and then giving you options and recommending what he thinks is best. dr. kosinski is the first male gynecologist i have since since i was 16 years old. i am now 62, thanks to him. dr. kosinski pressed me to get a mammogram that i felt was unnecessary. it was a routine mamm, and they found cancer. besides being just a totally approachable, nice guy, dr. Rude staff and office manager. I tried calling on several different occasions to schedule a new patient appointment for an annual exam. Every time I was put on hold for a very long time, like 10 minutes. They did make sure that they took my PPO insurance though and every time I was asked if I called my insurance to make sure the visit would be covered, before they put me on hold. The last time I called, I asked to speak to the office manager. I was put on hold, for a very long time, again!! Then someone other than the manager came on the phone and asked who I was, I told her. She asked me, "Are you the person I spoke to earlier?" I said I don't know who you are. She said she was trying to make an appointment for me. I said I am holding for the office manager. "Oh, well, she is probably busy". I said "I hope not, cause I have been holding for a long time for her". I then was put on hold again for a very long time. I then hung up and called back to leave a message for the office manager to call me back. The receptionist did not take my message, but said "the office manager was about to pick up your call before you hung up". Daria, the office manager came on the phone. I told her I have called on several different occasions to schedule an appointment only to be put on hold for 10 minutes each time, and just want to make a new patient appointment. I was told "they have several locations and are busy". I told her "then they are too busy for my business". I work in the medical field for a busy practice and would never treat patients this way. If this is a good example of how I will be treated in the future, no thank you. I will go somewhere where I will not be treated so rudely. read more
