Decided in the am to get a tree and then had one delivered that day! Dealt with Anthony himself and he was so kind and efficient, staying in touch with me in the evening since I was the last drop off and it would be a late drop. Delivery was easy and done in 1 minute. Guy left so fast, I didn't get to tip him. I emailed Anthony and he let me venmo the tip. Great business all around! read more

Anthony Gallo Nursery - I was told not to pee on the tree or I'm in big trouble! - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

We opted for Christmas tree delivery this year, and the balsam fir we received was delivered on time and was more beautiful than any tree we've personally selected from an outdoor lot in Brooklyn. The guy who did the installation was efficient and sweet, and the cost worked out the same as buying a 6ft tree from a median-priced lot. Will be using them again next year! read more

We get our Christmas tree from Gallo every year and we couldn't be happier with their selection. Always a great experience with the staff too. read more

My husband and I have been going out and lugging a Christmas tree home for 30+years, but his back went out so I decided to try to get a tree delivered. I called Gallo 5 days before Christmas and Anthony himself answered the phone and kindly explained that I could go to his website and order what I wanted and he'd have it delivered the same evening. Now I'm completely spoiled because the tree is gorgeous, it came in a few hours, and having someone set it up in the tree stand was such a pleasure!! The price was very reasonable and the convenience was well worth paying a little extra for. read more

Another amazing experience with Anthony Gallo. They are very responsive, have amazing trees, and are so friendly. Prices are competitive to other delivery places in the area. Thanks again! read more

Ordered my tree from Anthony for the first time this past Christmas and I was so impressed by the experience. I called to inquire about delivery options and Anthony worked with my schedule to find the best time. The tree was delivered in great condition and it has stayed fresh and vibrant for over a month at this point. Very satisfied with my experience! read more

This is the first time As a family we ordered a tree online. But due to the tree shortage and all, we felt this was our best option after reading all the reviews and seeing the pics. Online ordering was seamless, delivery option/turnaround was as early as the next day and pricing was reasonable with delivery and setup. Delivery was easy, but I wasn't overly thrilled with the tree. I figured w/ the shortage and all, it's ok. Anthony took it upon himself to reach out immediately. Anthony Gallo and his team went above and beyond and we are thrilled with the quality of service and product provided. Tree trimming is a memorable, once a year event and I truly believe Anthony wants that to be a positive experience for his customers. It's a busy time of year for this business and they still remain customer service focused. Tree is freshly cut, full, and smells amazing. I highly recommend Anthony Gallo and will be a repeat customer! Def try them out!! You won't be disappointed! read more

I had work done by Antony this week. I am very picky. And I am kind of micromanaging work done by people for me. I like quality work. Antony told me that he will do a good job. And he did. I didn't have to micromanage. He was present at all times during job. He understood what I wanted to be done. He listened to me, gave good advise. He is also very pleasant person. I would recommend him to anyone who needs good job to be done. His prices were reasonable. He works fast. read more

Never again! Never buy a Christmas tree online! This is a disappointment of the year. For $ 118 (with delivery) you get a crooked skinny stale tree that has been cut in an attempt to bring it to a decent appearance. You do not respect customers and sell such a shame and say that it is premium quality! Definitely a refund. read more

My neighbor already pulled it out and I'm about to! Note. I tipped them $800.00 and he stopped answering my calls and texts after I complained. Thanks a bunch Anthony read more

The staff is nice and helpful and always have a good selection and variety of trees in sizes and prices.

Anthony Gallo of Anthony Gallo Landscaping Nursery is like family. I have been buying my Christmas trees online from him, for years and have been completely happy with every single purchase! Interestingly enough, Anthony knows/remembers exactly the kind of tree I want and he always supplies it - this is a testament to his warmth and professionalism as an owner/manager . His trees are truly evergreen - they are fresh and fragrant and last solidly for at least a month. I request to have the tree setup at purchase and a very proficient attendant(s) effortlessly sets up my tree! Anthony Gallo is my 'go-to' for naturally beautifying my home with nature's beauty. His summer gardens are equally special. You will be pleased. read more

Great guys, great customer service!! Will be getting a tree from them again for Christmas 2020!

Got my Christmas tree delivered from them. Totally disappointed, tiny, overpriced. So upset Update: I wrote to the company and they responded promptly and have promised to deliver a new tree to me tomorrow, with a discount. They've been very responsive and hopefully, it will all work out. Further Update: The new tree came today. It is just what i was hoping for. Many thanks for the awesome service and jumping on the issue as soon as it popped up. read more

These guys rock, second year in a row of getting the best Christmas tree possible. Now this is coming from a guy who has cut down my own tree, had them fedexed after being cut, and even shopped around every street vendor in the lower west side of Manhattan. So it comes from a lot of experience, these guys get the most fresh and most full trees you can find. This year I trusted them to get a full perfect size and sight unseen it shows up and boom there is Christmas. If you head out there, its a trip, but worth it. Though don't worry if you ask them to pick the tree out, they will get you a great one. Plus these are a better value than the ones on the street, fresher and cheaper. Anthony is great guy, and has a great team you will not be disappointed. Wes read more

I've ordered a Christmas tree from Anthony three years in a row (soon to be 4). Always a fantastic experience! The trees are moist, smell wonderul, and last for ages! The delivery and set up is seamless as well! Can't say enough about this company! read more

Clearly I had to see the tree before they delivered it. So a week after Thanksgiving we traveled to Flatbush ave. (not the most romantic part of the tree-getting tradition). But the minute we walked into the nursery I was at ease. It was fully stocked with fresh-smelling, tall trees. Anthony was kind and accommodating so at this point I felt like my $49 purchase was worth it. Much better than what I was used to on 6th ave in Soho, spending triple the price. We upgraded to the Balsam rather than the Fraser--an extra $15 that we were happy to spend to have that amazing Xmas tree smell. Scheduling the delivery was a bit of a process. More than a Manhattanite is used to. My advice to future Grouponers--they have a schedule, and it may not be yours. Nevertheless Anthony made up for it by making a special trip into the city to deliver our tree. A few days later than we preferred but in the end it was worth it. The tree is lovely and the house has never smelled more Christmasy :) read more

I purchased a Groupon for a 6-foot Christmas tree for $39. I called them to schedule my delivery and they gave me several available times, including a Sunday. Some places when I tell them I am using a Groupon are not super nice about it, but they treated me very nicely. They just dropped off my tree and it is beautiful. The guys who dropped it off were nice, friendly and efficient and I am so excited to start decorating. I think the prices even without a Groupon are very reasonable. Last year we spent $60 on a tiny little 2-foot tree from a place we found on the street and we had to carry it home...this year, Anthony Gallo delivered, the tree is much bigger and nicer, and the price can't be beat. I will visit them again. Highly recommend. read more

Buying our first Christmas tree in NYC was painless, fast, and was not a huge blow to the wallet. For just over $50, we brought home an 8' Frasier fur that is tall, slender, and nicely shaped -- just what we asked for. I like it that this is a family-owned local business, too. We will definitely return for next year's tree! read more

I first came here last year, about a 2 weeks after thanksgiving, to pick up my tree. It was convenient and I really like to support local business whenever possible. Great experience! They were helpful, patient and affordable. This year i needed (wanted) to get my tree earlier so I went the Saturday after thanksgiving. Slightly different experience. We got there at almost 10- their website says they open at 9- and they weren't quite ready. I also called and the owner told me the guy who was there would be happy to help me. The trees weren't open so it was hard to pick a tree. The guy who was there, clearly wasn't in the mood to open them up or trimming the end off. (Considering how annoyed he looked when I asked him) I ended up getting a tree that, once I got it home, I didn't love. I'll go back next year for sure, but I'll wait till the weekend after Thanksgiving and will go later in the day. They still tick off the boxes-affordable, convenient with a decent selection of trees. I'm pretty sure this was a one off. Giving them 4 stars based in last years experience. 12.5.15: This year was stellar! The owner himself helped me and dude from last year was in a better mood. I adore this place. Also got an undecorated (my request) wreath. read more

I needed an estimate right away for some construction going on in my yard. I called several landscapers and they never got back to me. I called Anthony and spoke to him right away. He was able to set up an appointment with me the next day. He was running a little late and had the courtesy to call me and let me know. Not many contractors do that. He was very professional and got back to me right away with a reasonable estimate. I plan on using Anthony for the work being done because he truly is a professional and cares very much about his work and his customers. read more

Easiest experience ordering a Christmas tree online and getting it delivered and set up! I'll do this every year from now on.

Best place to get a Christmas tree! ..I've been coming here for years ; great quality of service.

First time using Gallo Landscaping and am ecstatically happy with the service and the product. Decided to order a Christmas tree last night on their website. Site was easy to use and 3 minutes in my order was placed and my tree was scheduled to arrive the next day. So happy a business could actually do next day delivery. Called them around noon to see if they could give me a rough delivery time and spoke directly to Anthony Gallo who could not have been nicer or more professional. He answered all my questions and the tree showed up right on time. Delivery team was courteous and friendly and took care of everything. Sooo happy I didn't have to drive all over Brooklyn looking for a tree. I'd also mention that the tree itself is incredible: huge, full, symmetrical, and super fresh. Best tree I've ever had. I can tell you this: I know exactly where I'm going every year for my Christmas tree, and since I need some landscaping in the spring Gallo Landscaping will be my first call. Really well done, guys. read more
