I have been going here since I moved to Phoenix 5 years ago. Everyone who works there is very professional, courteous, and do outstanding work! I usually get my hair cut by Alex. I have been going to him for a while and he never disappoints! He is very thorough and takes his time! I am a musician here locally in Phoenix and I always come to him before I get ready for a show because he knows exactly what to do and I can depend on him every single time! Usually after my performances I always get a couple compliments about my hair or how my beard was lined and I would say I get it done by Alex at the Anthem Barbershop. I have even gotten a few ladies phone numbers because image is everything especially in the music profession. I definitely would recommend going here if you want a great haircut and great service! read more

I have been going to this barber shop for over 15 years always been great. The business recently been sold, went yesterday only to find out price increased 40% absolutely disgraceful. Going to start looking for a new place to get my haircut. read more

First time trying and I love this place! Took my fiance here for the first time because there was a particular haircut I thought would look good. The ladies understood what I meant immediately and he looked so handsome!! Natalia was his barber and she did a great job. Everyone here is really friendly too and chatted with me a bit while I waited for him to be done. Definitely suggest your man go here! They make them look spiffy. read more

I'm here again after about 45 days since my last haircut. Mia did a great job again. I have more and more faith in her giving me a great result. She took the time to get it done and I was happy when I walked out. So glad I could find a great place to cut my hair. I used to drive back to LA to get my haircuts. Now I don't have to anymore. read more

Larissa is amazing! She's been cutting my sons hair for years and knows what he needs by heart! we tried a different barber once and it did not go well. We highly recommend Larissa! read more

Good and fast service, nice hair cut and reasonable price , highly recommend, thank you Natalia!

Went in as a walk in and got seated right away. Told the guy I wanted a cut and a beard touch up. He said cool. While in the chair some people walked in that they had miss booked and there was discussion about it while cutting my hair. No big deal right. WRONG. As soon as the barber was done with my haircut he said "can't get to the beard". I'm thinking like it's not my fault you messed up your bookings. I'm in the chair and my moneys green. What's the problem? No deal he was done and sending me on my way. To me this is utter disrespect and poor customer service. I will never go back. read more

Been a customer since the opening. Very satisfied with the quality of service. Real barber shop.

Eddie is top notch with razor fades. He always takes his time and we have good conversations.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I can't remember the young man's name, but he was friendly and attentive, listening to what I was looking for. His Mum also helped out and was very friendly.. and she cut a few people's hair while I was in there too, they all looked great. Today at work, I received a TON of compliments on my hair cut, certainly more than ever before - so apparently others agree with me, a job very well done! Easy parking outside. Comfy chairs. Fair prices. Certainly planning on going back. read more

This was my first visit here and did not know what to expect. Larisa did an amazing job giving me a medium fade hair cut and taught me the differences between medium fades and tapper fades which I greatly appreciated. It was an awesome experience and can not wait to go back! Thank you Larisa! read more

Anthem Cuts Barber Shop - Medium fade - Barbers Near Me - Anthem, Arizona

I've been coming to Anthem Cuts Barbershop for five years. They are a small family-owned business with friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and great haircuts! Highly recommend! read more

Excellent haircuts for my son and I by Alex and Eddie. Have been going here for over 9 years and have always had great service.

They require appts. However, once in there, they have a sign stating that they welcome walk ins. They are cash only but have an ATM on site. My husband left without actually getting his haircut bc he didn't like how the younger barber treated him after he asked about the conflicting messaging on the walk-in policy. The barber cursed my husband on his way out. read more

Twice now I've sat for over 40min and head others jump the line BS Fortunately there are alot of other baders in Phoenix Never going back read more

Recently went to Anthem Barber shop with my son, got the same hair cut/style as we've been getting for over 2 years, the stylist cut him so deep he started bleeding and now it's began to scab. Will NEVER go back. read more

Changing from 2 stars to 1 because after several days I'm still angry. I forgot to mention that I have a beard that she also started trimming out of the blue despite not mentioning it and me not requesting it. What the hell. Steer clear of this inept wanna be barber. read more

Absolutely love this place all of the people included!!!! Nothing but good vibes and very good work. I couldn't ask for better haircut!!! Always the upmost love read more

John is amazing. My husband has a Marine High and Tight so finding someone to do an even, good job on his head is a big deal. John takes his time with everything, razor shave, hand carved high and tight and ends with a steam towel and a massage. Best around! read more

Been going here for a over two years. Great place for a haircut. All barbers a are great, personally I have use Mila.

First time here last Friday. Larissa was able to take me as a walk in. Im only about a 10 min cut. She has a no B.S. approach which I Iike. She nailed the length and got the job done. New regular going forward. read more

Great haircut! Fast and courteous! Will definitely go back to Larisa! All the barbers know what looks good!

Amazing Barbershop and close to home, Alex S is an artist!!!!!! Very clean environment, and extremely fast!!!!

Anthem Barbers is an amazing Shop. There are several staff who welcome you once you come in and can choose from one of their many workers. Julia has been my barber for sometime now and she has the highest attention to detail I've ever seen. Very friendly environment and has TV's at every station if you're not in the food for talking. Each cut comes with a hot towel face massage along with a shoulder and back massage. For the price, convenience in location, and expertise, Anthem Barbers is a local store you can trust! read more

I've been coming here for several years! Alex S does a great job every time! I highly recommend Anthem Cuts and Alex!

I don't know what cassie H. was having a fit over because this a barber shop not a hair salon so ya, makes sense if they said his hair is to long. I'm in college and have been going there since i was in 6th grade and they've never done me wrong and always kept it 100%. shout out my girl Larissa . read more

Let me start off by saying that I don't usually write Yelp reviews. However, I felt compelled after my experience here. I walk in to this place to get a haircut. I've been here before with no problems. John usually does a fine job cutting my hair and I've always been satisfied. This time, I walked in and showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted. I stated "I want this haircut, but I want it shorter on the sides". He buzzed the sides the same length all around and proceeded to trim the top as requested. When the haircut was over, I asked if we could go shorter on the sides, or perhaps do a fade. He quickly became irritated and defensive that he had to do it again. I actually apologized and stated "I'm sorry, I probably should have been more clear with what I wanted" Keep in mind that my request didn't require him to redo the entire haircut because he had originally cut it the same length with the buzzer. As he's doing the fade, Melissa (I believe that's her name, her chair is closest to the door and I think she's the owner) came out and looked at us and said "Are you doing two haircuts?" John explained what happened and she said "You know we have to charge you for two haircuts now, right?" I was floored. I replied "If that's how you choose to run your business, then I will pay for two haircuts." She didn't acknowledge my response and rudely ignored me and walked away. I will never return to this place again and will tell everyone I know about my experience. You don't ever belittle or reprimand a customer. I even nicely apologized for not being more clear about what I wanted. They never ended up charging me for two haircuts, which furthermore proves my point that they just wanted to make me feel bad. In the end, my request added less than 5 minutes of additional work. They have lost a customer for life due to the way they handled this situation and how they made me feel. Never again. Melissa always has a bad attitude every time I go in there, so this isn't the first time. She should seek employment where she doesn't have to have face to face contact with customers. The customer is always right. This place apparently has a difficult time grasping that concept. . read more

This review update is in response to the most recent derogatory review left by a fellow yelper. I have been frequenting this establishment now for well almost a year, and have always been treated with respect, and have been provided with A+ service each and every time I'm their. I am by no means related to/am friends with the owner. What she does do however is provide a wonderfully attentive haircut , and shave at an extremely reasonable rate. I will continue my patronage without a doubt. read more

Great haircut great job fast service reasonably priced definitely a great place for men to get haircuts

Of the local barber shops in Anthem this one is the best. Owned and operated by a Russian woman, they cut hair in a traditional manner, offering a quick back massage after, hot towel and straight blade shave. The staff is very friendly (although the owner can occasionally appear serious) and is comparably priced to the usual barber places you see around the valley. The location is always clean, has flat panel TVs and nice furniture. They cut men, women and children's hair and offer a variety of services. If you're looking for a haircut north of the valley this is it! read more

This was perhaps the finest shave I have received in 18 years living in Arizona. Carson is a master Barber. And the price is so completely affordable it blew my mind. For the time and effort that he puts into it I would have thought it would have been over $50. And it was under even with a sizable tip. I will absolutely be back because the gas money is worth being treated like a king. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! They absolutely DO NOT LISTEN. I took my son in and said I wanted just a light trim on the sides and very little off the top "he likes it long" they completely ignored what I said and cut my sons hair super short! He is so upset and so am I. Horrible place!!!! read more

Had another great experience at Anthem Barbershop today. Yes it's always busy but who wants to go to a barbershop that isn't busy? A barbershop that isn't busy is a pretty good indication the shop may not be somewhere you want to be. You can make appointments during the week but not on Saturdays. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the shop is always clean. The cuts are consistently excellent from the owner Larissa as well as Alex. They make me feel welcome every time I walk in the shop and take a genuine interest as to how I have been doing. I have taken both my boys there for the past six years and recommended the shop to my dad, nephew and brother in law who are all now regulars. Even though it might make the wait longer I would recommend the shop to anyone in need of an excellent haircut. read more

Best haircut I've gotten in a looooong time! Great shop, friendly staff, excellent haircuts -- all at a very reasonable price. Doesn't get any better than that. Not only did I get a great haircut (thanks Larissa!), but I also got the royal barbershop treatment (hot foam shave around the neck, hot towel scalp treatment, and massage pad on my shoulders and back). What a treat! I'm definitely going back, and recommending this shop (and Larissa) to any man interested in a great barbershop and a great haircut. read more

Great service, great cut, great price, you will not be unhappy. I've been getting my cut here for over 3 years and have always love the outcome. The staff is always open and friendly and more than happy to offer a beverage if desired. The hot towel and neck/ back massage always makes me feel refreshed and invigorated. Make sure you ask for the loyalty card before you leave. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Extremely disappointed in this barbershop, I will not be going back here again They didn't listen to what I asked for. They cut my hair to what their style is and not what I was asking for which is unprofessional. Whoever reads this I hope you learn from my mistake and make the better decisions for not going here read more

Why have people make set appointments and then 2hr later you are walking out the door, if my son did not like this place would not come here, its the only reason that I do. And k understand you have friends that come and get there hair cut but don't take an opponent if you are going to have used in here this long. And you charge $25. read more
