I really did love this vet for a long time, but back in may I brought my dog vegas in for he was having issues with his rear end. I had mentioned to them that he had gotten out of our fence and I was worried he may have gotten a fox tail in there. They knocked him out and checked and reported back, no foxtail. Put him on antibiotics and sent us on our way. I returned 3 more times for the same issue. The dr proceeded to tell me that he had an anal gland rupture and I wasn't taking care of his rear end enough and I needed to be washing him more frequently to keep the area clean. At this point my dog had been in a cone for several month and on 3 rounds of antibiotics. I went in for a second opinion in September to another vet, within the first 5 min they checked his rear and pulled out the foxtail that had been hurting my dog for four long months. I spent over $1000 at antelope vet for them to make me feel like I wasn't doing enough for my dog when really they didn't do their job in checking a second time for this foxtail. I won't be returning, though their office staff was great I did feel like the Dr made me feel like I was a bad pet owner. read more

I have a little foster cat whose teeth were so badly decayed that I was told he needed full mouth extractions and the estimates from other veterinary practices were way beyond what I could afford. Even with Care Credit. Dr. Smoak reviewed my previous estimates & quoted me an estimate which included everything that had been listed that Binky needed at a price which was much easier for me to pay. They kindly gave us an appointment within 2 weeks and we took Binky in for his procedure. The front office staff were very courteous and friendly. Dr. Emily Green performed the dental surgery and was able to save some of Binky's teeth. She gave him a long lasting antibiotic injection so I didn't have to struggle to medicate him daily. And a long lasting pain injection which kept him happy and excessively affectionate for nearly 3 days! And the final bill was even lower than the expected estimate! Binky was ready to go home later that same day. He has healed well & is now able to eat dry food when before he could only eat soft wet food. He had a chronic eye inflammation which has completely gone away. And the telltale awful breath is gone. Excellent staff, excellent doctor skills, excellent results. Win-win-win! Do not answer phones during normal business hours, unprofessional staff, rude, demanding & uncooperative. They scheduled service with us & locked doors during time frame scheduled & did not answer doors or phone calls to two different phone numbers. We will not be providing service to these people. Six different calls on different week days & times. They really weren't too interested in getting their dryer fixed anytime soon. Can't fix stupid. read more

I have been going here for a bit but I only had two issues with a desk lady and some lady covering for Sandy. The desk lady was super unclear with her speaking and I had to keep asking "wait what did you say?" and she just got attitude and looked at me like I was dumb. I just wanted to know what is going to happen to my baby and if I needed to stay. Now about this other lady..I took my cat in and it turned out he had tape worm so this lady came out and handed me a pill and a syringe. All she said was " feed him after giving him the pill"...I'm a new adult and I didn't know how to give a pill to a cat so I thought I ask someone that would know and I asked her " how do you give a pill to a cat?" I'm not lying when I say this!! But she literally rolled her eyes as she put her head back and repeated what I said! I was embarrassed after she did that because she made me feel so dumb and it was in front of everyone that was in the waiting room she was rude to me and embarrassed me so bad I just haven't been back. read more

Had to wait thirty minutes after my appointment just to get anyone up to the front desk to take my information, and get seen. I even arrived 5 minutes early, and I still wait almost 10 minutes after they took my information. Making it also 10:45 am still haven't been seen when my appointment was at 10:00 am read more

This is THE BEST veterinary hospital. They have compassionate and knowledgeable staff who go the extra mile to provide the best care at very reasonable prices. Our dogs have always been excited and happy to go visit Dr. Sandy (Flournoy) for office visits, even when they have to get shots. Sandy also went above and beyond with us and our 15-year-old cat through 7 years of diabetes, 5 years of kidney disease and 3 years of lymphoma. She kept him happy, comfortable and feeling frisky for years longer than anyone would have predicted given his health challenges. Our pets are our family - we will never take them anywhere else. I don't know how this place has such 3 5 star reviews. Took my cat in Monday morning, I had expensive lab work done. I was told that the lab work would take 30 minutes and that I would get a call once lab work was finished. An hour later I call and I am told the Dr is in surgery, the office manager gives me a overview of the results and tells me that the Dr wants to talk to me about some other possible issues. I called to follow-up in the middle of the week and nothing. It's now Friday, I call again and I am told Dr is in surgery. Seems like the Dr is too busy to care for new clients. read more

Always very helpful and even though their doc is stretched pretty thin she takes her time to explain what's going on and how we should handle everything and has in a way educated us so we can spend more time with our pets at home and less time at the vet visiting her. This was the worst experience in a Veterinarian service my family and I and our pets have ever been through. I can not say enough bad things about sandy or her receptionist. They are rude and very unprofessional, I have a phone call from sandy herself denying a very important prescription to our dog for his sight. She cursed several times, defamed my name, said that I breed my bitch to the ground, (I have only breed her 1 time) I'm disgusted by her actions! I will help spread the word so other people do not have to go through what we did! I hope my review will at least affect 1 person from going to them, if I can help people and their pets from this treatment then i feel i have helped our community a little. Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional! I have spent thousands of dollars there to be screwed over. This business gave me a sour taste in my mouth for vets. I hope my next experience is much better, we came to this small town as camp fire survivors, and I feel they took advantage of my family and our pets. We got charged for (an office visit 70 dollars) for walking in, then walking out, sandy herself told us to go home. She sent us a bill and charged it to our credit card on a different visit, (sneaky) I first kindly asked for an explanation, of this matter, then quickly escalated into a verbal confrontation between the entire vet office and us, they quickly said instead of a explanation, that they would transfer our records to another vet if we dispute any charges... that set us off, and I wanted a refund as we were took advantage of again, they told is to leave the premises. We did leave. With thousands of debt and a dog that will lose his sight because they refused to fill the prescription that we were already charged for the visit... in my opinion they do not care about animals. Only their pocket books. As a disagreement should not affect a poor innocent animal... shame on you sandy and your staff! read more

Had a very sick dog over the weekend. Dr.Sandy's office worked me in on an emergency basis as my bichonpoo had a ruptured abscess over his throat. Turned out he had an abscessed tooth with some other bad teeth that had to be pulled and plaque removed. She cleaned up the abscess, he's on antibiotics and our beloved friend is on the road to recovery. Price was very reasonable for all that was done. Thanks so much for all you do,Cindy read more
