We went there for a late night, last minute Indian last night and they were very accommodating! Friendly staff, good quality food and reasonably priced, too. The one "issue" I would say (if indeed you could call it that) was that the portions were so enormous!! However we did end up taking loads home, so every cloud!
Whilst perusing the menu, we had popadoms and the usual chutneys etc - I can recommend their 'red hot sauce' which is in fact just a slightly spicy, garlicky mango chutney. I then went on to have samosas which were beautiful, but ENORMOUS!! I actually felt full after eating them!! They came with salad and we still had the chutneys. My fiancé had a mixed grill starter which had chicken, seek kebab and an onion bargi. For my main, I had lightly friend Indian fish wth special rice, potatoes and spinach. The dish was called Saag Machli was labelled the healthy option. It was beautiful. The flavours of the fish and the rice were so delicate. However, there was enough there to feed two people! Not bad for £9.99! Fiancé had chicken rogan josh which he said was lovely. This was all washed down with their house Cobra beer, and if we weren't stuffed already, we then got free baileys and an orange chocolate square too. All this came to £44.99 including beer, so not a bad evening out for two of you. :) read more
