WARNING! Don't take your vehicle there!…read more i took my car to Golden Mile Auto Collision; brought in there in august 2025 after a collision. The owner called me in October to tell me my car was ready after almost 3 months. WE went to retrieve our vehicle. it was not ready! we had to wait 1 hour and some on a cold night and breathing the health hazard fume. I was informed that the car was ready, the car was filthy; on the way home about 5 minutes on the road my car died and the message was "limited performance" indicating a serious mechanical issue. My son and i were left stranded. I contacted Golden Mile right away, the answer i received was "i cannot help you, i am not a mechanic". We had to leave our car on the road til the next day. Until now, our car is still not repaired and has extensive mechanical issues. Golden mile charged me $6500. which they gladly accepted. It was a waste of time and money. WE took the car to a reputable mechanic, they were apauled to see the poor workmanship from Golden Mile Auto Collision, they saw that they attached the replacement parts with twist ties versus screws. They could not believe how bad the body work was done. I had put all my trust and good faith in Golden Mile Auto Collision just to be seriously disappointed. They failed to inform of the mechanical damages, moreover the workmanship was very poorly done. We used to be regular clients; In future, we will never access Golden Mile Auto Collision ever again, totally took away my trust and my money.

I brought my car there for a repair of a loose connection of my power steering system. I asked Mr. Moazam to reconnect the fitting and he wanted to replace all the hoses. He asked to put the car up on the rack so he could look at it. I asked him for an estimate once he put it on the rack and the price went way up, to him estimating two and a half hours of work. To justify his pricing he told me about all the expenses of operating a auto shop. Somehow I recall hearing somewhere else. The reattaching of a hose now was over $600.00. When I said I cannot afford this price and I questioned the need for other hoses other than the loose hose. I asked that the car be taken off the lift and returned to me as I did not agree. Apparently he was upset that I did not agree with his diagnosis nor the price. He then told me that, once the car is on the lift that I had to pay a lift fee of $70.00. It was on the lift for 5 minutes. I said how do you justify that? He said that besides putting it on the lift, he told me he spent 5 minutes explaining to me how he justified the unnecessary work. Perhaps he expects customers to agree with whatever he wants to charge without question

BOTTOM LINE: Trustworthy, professional and reliable - this is one of the few performance shops I'd…read moretake my vehicle to in the GTA. There are untold stories of shady shops scamming customers, or even worse, negligently working on vehicles. It's bad enough when you're servicing your daily beater, but the paranoia only ramps up 100-fold when you're bringing in a performance vehicle. I've been taking my vehicle to Speedstar for over 3 years now and having spoken to various gearheads in the community, I can unreservedly vouch for their work and customer service. To that end, no shop is "perfect" and mistakes are sometimes made, but I cannot stress how professional their customer service has been! First off, I believe they've been for almost 10 years, if not longer, which speaks to their consistency. They began as one of the few GTA shops that not only focused on the JDM market, but the S2000 in particular. As with any niche vehicle, it has its own idiosyncrasies that your local Honda dealership would almost assuredly be in the dark about. Given the owners both tracked their S2000s for years, you can bet they know how to work on these vehicles! More recently, their shop have been involved with various drivers and racing series in the GTA (e.g., CSCS, Porsche GT3 cups, etc.) and have taken top spots in them. They've branched out from the JDM market, and I've seen track-prepped Ferraris, Porshes, Audis, McLarens and more in their shop. If that's not hardcore enough for you, I don't know what is. Although not necessarily the cheapest shop in town, they also won't gouge you like your dealership will. They've always taken their time explaining any recommendations they make, and I've never been pressured to do one thing or another. They've also never made any frivolous recommendations for me, and that has gone along way in establishing trust. For many, Speedstar could probably be a one-stop-shop for most of your gearhead needs. They would definitely be worth checking out if you have a performance vehicle that needs servicing...or more.
