I have been going to John Payton's for about 27 years now…read more He has taken care of 5 of my cars over the years, and has kept each one well maintained. Mr. Payton is not a regular mechanic (I am 74 years old, so you can imagine that I have been to several mechanics, all before I moved in 1998 to Mr. Payton's area.) He is hands down the best mechanic I have ever had service my cars. He truly cares about his patrons, whether new or long-time customers. I have seen this in the past nearly 3 decades of being there having one of my cars serviced. He is not just extremely skilled and hardworking, he also checks everything that is even remotely connected to the problem you are having. He is totally thorough, and takes extreme pride in his work - and you get complete value from his service at a fair price. One day he will retire, and I will be at a loss to find another mechanic with his professionalism, dedication, and skill. I will not find one like him. I'll just have to take my chances on someone else.

In & Out Tire, Clarksburg, WV. We had travelled from central Virginia to Clarksburg, WV for the…read moreChristmas/ New Years holiday. A few days into our trip, a "check tire pressure" light came on. My husband assumed that it was because of the cold temperatures but nonetheless topped up the pressures in all four tires. A day later, the same message came on for the same tire. Upon the recommendation of a Clarksburg local, he called In & Out Tire, and was able to get a same-day appointment. They were able to diagnose and patch the problem (a piece of metal had punctured the tire), taking only 30-40 minutes from start to finish. He felt that the $23.14 charge was reasonable. We have now travelled back to Virginia (about 350 miles), and the tire held up perfectly. We hope not to need the services of In & Out Tire again, but if we do, we would definitely return to this business.

He will NEVER be the mechanic that would tell you that you need something that he knows you don't! Buddy wouldn't be able to live with hisself if he did what many other machines do. I have dealt with Buddy at B & B much longer and his work is always RIGHT ON‼ He's been around for a long time, and his reputation speaks for it's self! The price was reasonable and he did a fantastic job. One of the retaining rings had the tip broken off, making it impossible for me to remove even that.
