Jamie was our Junior Associate. He came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator and I see why! His bubbly personality was a welcome addition day of to keep the energy high and make the documented moments feeling authentic and intentional. He went above and beyond with capturing drone footage and every wedding moment start to finish. After our big day, Sam edited our video to deliver a 2 minute teaser, 8 minute video capture, and provided us all raw footage. On top of this, they give couples the option to select songs. I would NOT recommend using this company for your wedding videographer. The video that we received…read morewas months late, and the vendor never contacted us to notify there was going to be a delay of any kind. We had to repeatedly ask when we could expect the DVD to be completed, and were given increasingly longer time frames with no warning that additional time was needed and no communication when time adjustments would be necessary. We had to do all the communication/follow-up with this vendor, and found the majority of the vendors responses to be excuses, and/or unprofessional. I was actually told once that "I would get the DVD when I got it, and I would love it", in a rude, condescending tone. In my opinion, the quality of the work was also not what we expected it to be. The difference in the shots/video quality is obvious. The video would go from excellent video quality, to not being as clear of an image. During our one-on-one meeting before the wedding, the vendor suggested that they could include in the video personal messages from friends and family. We decided at that time to listen to their suggestion, and approved this addition. After we watched the DVD, we discovered that the vendor mistakenly left something vulgar in a personal message on the video during the editing process. We addressed our concerns with the vendor, and instead of taking responsibility for missing something during editing, they placed the blame back on the individual in our video while stating that they never watch the personal messages. The vendor did change it eventually, but then refused to send us the 10 DVD's that we were promised in the contract. The vendor declared they would only send 5 of the correct copies and advised that if we felt that we needed more than 5, we should contact the individual on the video to pay for them. The reasoning was that as the vendor they were not the moral compass in this situation in regards to the individual's behavior. However, we were told during our one-on-one meeting that the entire video was watched and edited in its entirety. This further delayed our video, yet again. We did end up getting the 10 DVD's that we paid for under our contract after arguing that 10 DVD's is what we paid for, and that it was not our fault that they missed this clip during their editing process. We stated that if only 5 DVD's were sent that we were also requesting all the unedited material. This whole process once again came with no follow-up email or phone calls, we had to call the vendor again, a week after our last email was sent, to be advised that the DVD's were in the mail. We walked away with an extremely negative experience.

I learned that just because someone is a photographer doesn't mean they do weddings. I checked into several photographers and did thorough research. When I called Artlynn, I spoke to Jeff. He was professional, helpful and very friendly. I had many questions and he answered them all. He encouraged me to come into the studio to look at their work in person. So, I came in the next day (conveniently located) and was absolutely wowed by the photo work displayed in the studio along with the photo albums I got to look at. The pictures are clear, so much so, I felt like I was actually there in the scene. Now, that's talent. The pictures online don't do them enough justice, definitely go pay them a visit. When my fiancee was available, he came to see the photos for himself. Like me, he was impressed. Jeff once again was friendly and took time with us along with being very accommodating which we appreciated. We were glad our wedding date was available as it is a popular date. We are also relieved because Artlynn has done photography at our wedding venue many many times so they are familiar with the place which we know will be to our advantage. I look forward to providing an updated review when our wedding photos are completed but I will say that our impression so far is really good and their prices we found that, compared to others, are very reasonable. Things got a little confusing in the paperwork process. We would talk to Jeff but when it came to receiving contract documents or messages through email, it came from Anthony. When responding to Anthony's email, I would get a reply to talk to Jeff. A suggestion I would make is that if we are dealing with Jeff, then it should be him throughout the whole process and the same process with Anthony. I shared this information with Jeff. One of the options was a cinema style video, which is basically creating a movie out of someone's bar-mitzvah. The videos were so amazing that I found myself glued to the stories of random 13 year old's special days and when Jeff turned one off after a few min I was bummed I wouldn't find out what happened to Drew! Drew's bar-mitzvah kept me as engaged as some of my favorite TV shows! They also take photo montages to the next level. Jeff showed one example of an art themed bat-mitzvah where the young artist basically walked thru one of her paintings into a gallery of all of her art. I was sold and came home brainstorming many ideas for what we can do for my daughter's montage in a few years.
