I think one of the other reviewers said it just right. She is money hungry. I went to get fillers with her and I feel violated and disrespected at what she did. I had asked for a specific kind of filler. I need this particular kind of filler because virtually all other fillers leave me with red lumps that last for weeks. I did not tell her that, since it wasn't an issue--I had asked for a filler I don't have reactions to. Well... it turns out she decided to just MIX whatever LEFTOVER fillers she had. One half of my face was lumpy swollen and the other one wasn't--which matches precisely the point when she started changing syringes. The additional problem is that the fillers won't fade at the same rate. The side of my face that had the mystery filler leftovers is now not as full as the other side. I am truly disgusted that someone would inject me with a product I did not consent to because she wants to make money giving me literally trash. It's so slimy and immoral. read more

I am never going to go back to her again. After giving her many benefits of doubt, after my last appointment, I came to realization that her main purpose is to use as much product on her patients as she can for profit. During my last appointment with her, I told her that one of my eyebraws appeared a little high and I wanted to lower it for me to match the other one because it appeared more natural. She incorrectly advised that my eye will appear droopy if I applied botox to lower my eyelid, but i decided to go ahead with it anyway. She gave me 3 units above my eyebrow. The next day, I was very happy with the result, as both eyes and eyebrows appeared symmetrical, just the way I wanted. However, the day that follows , I was horrified to find out that my eyebrow and lid continued to drop further down. So basically the problem that I came to fix is now 10 times worse than when I came in. When I came back to tell her about it, to my astonishment, she told me she cannot b fix it and that I have to wait for 6 weeks, the problem will go away and she actually told me that looks are not important and its what's on the inside that matters! read more

Horrible bedside manner. I purchased a groupon for botox and upon seeing her she immediately commented on the fact that I tan and how bad my skin is. Then tried to up sale me on laser resurfacing. Her approach was awful at best. She also told me I would pay too much for botox anywhere else and I should come back to her and if I paid with cash, she would honor the amount I paid for the groupon. I got great results with my initial visit so I decided that it was worth dealing with her if she honored what she initially told me. I scheduled my appointment and inquired about payment. I finally received a response the evening before my appointment and apparently she changed her mind. So did I. I'd rather pay a few extra dollars and go see someone whose NOT arrogant, mouthy, pushy and just down right insulting. She said she knew my plastic surgeon (whose certified and respected), however he won't admit to knowing her or that she was in any way a colleague. I think that says it all. read more

Dr. Robert's is a certified Ophthalmologist, not a dermatologist. I've been getting Botox in my upper lip, to correct a gummy smile, for years. A friend recommended Dr. Roberts because she keeps late hours several nights per week and offers deals on Botox and fillers. Come to find out, Dr. Roberts keeps her office open late, so she can perform procedures "under the table" for cash only, and triple books her appointments. Try and offer her a card or ask about Brilliant Distinction points and watch her reaction. Dr. Roberts' bedside manner is appalling. I waited over an hour after my scheduled appt. time to be seen, while I was waiting multiple people who worked with Dr. Roberts (in street clothes-I'm not sure they were medical professionals) were coming out and asking people what they were having done and where, and going back to the medical suites to report to Dr. Roberts (the walls were thin), considering these are elective, cosmetic procedures I was shocked and embarrassed at the lack of discretion. When I was finally called back, Dr. Roberts tried to tell me the place where I've been getting my Botox injections for 4+ years is not anatomically correct, and it should never have worked (it has worked every other time). She then proceed to inject me with 4 units (less than a third of what I usually get) INSIDE MY NOSE. This did nothing to correct my smile, she did not honor the price she gives my friend (even when I pointed this out to her-she just shrugged), and when I told her I didn't have cash, she was extremely rude, and told me she would not be able to see me next time if I didn't have cash. I'm thinking this is likely because she's evading taxes with these evening appointments. There are so many better alternatives out there. Save yourself the hassle, and the potential tax evasion/fraud. read more

I have had both iLipo and Botox injections (forehead) done with Dr. Roberts, and I only have good things to say about her. She is very knowledgeable and personable, and does not nickel and dime her patients. She has a good eye for esthetics and will not overdo the injections. We always chit-chat during appointments and she doesn't rush me when I'm in. I can only speak of the new McLean office as this is where I received my last treatment. The only downside is the the wait time but since I only see her periodically I can tolerate this. read more

Pushy! Money hungry! Dishonest! She will lie in your face. She's got no morals. Such a waste of money and time. She injected Botox in the muscles around my mouth. I lost feeling for 4 months. I couldn't even rinse my mouth. She made every excuse before she finally admitted she made a mistake. She was apologetic I gave her another chance. I'm a forgiving person. Stupid mistake!! She is a con!! She almost forces people to have stuff done. She goes back on the price she she gives originally and will deny deny deny. She is constantly looking at herself the mirror and talks about how beautiful she is. Narcissistic personality. She will question you to see what you're insecure about and will make you feel bad about it until you agree to have something done by her. I was new to these procedures and she took full advantage of me. She is a crook and i wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. She still texts me to get me to come back to her. In her last text she said she was buying a house and would give discounts for cash payments. I blocked her after that. Update I've had a lump under my left eye for the past few years. I thought it was just puffiness. I saw a real dermatologist this week and we discovered that filler used by Anouche (I will not refer to her as a dr anymore) has lumped up there and has to be dissolved. I remember asking Anouche about my eye and she told me that it was impossible for the filler to still be there. Smh!! My experience with her is the gift that keeps on giving. read more

Dr. Roberts was able to not only correct the work of a previous filler experience gone wrong, but made my lips look beautiful and natural. She's incredibly personable and consultative, and knows her craft well. She really works as an artist by looking at your unique facial features to determine the optimal effect and will give you honest opinion. Had Botox and fillers on Thursday in the McLean office. Dr Roberts is an exceptional artist when it comes to this. She is able to manipulate and do things with my face that I have never experienced (and I have had fillers and Botox over the years). I was so pleased with the results that I am bringing my husband in for the same. I found Dr. Roberts to be quite engaging and as were the other gals in the office. I'm so happy that I found Dr. Roberts! I originally purchased a Groupon for botox, and although I had to wait a bit past my appointment time on the first visit, the results and price were well worth a short wait. (I just assumed she was busy due to her Groupon deal). Dr. Roberts gave me a no-nonsense plan for getting rid of my wrinkles (forehead and in between eyebrows), and was very quick and professional. I loved the results, and just went back to day for my second visit. She was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and I was taken back for my appointment within five minutes of arrival. I honestly don't know how she is still in business. She does demand cash and gets huffy when you don't bring it. Her staff turnover is very high. We (my friends and I who have gone) do believe that she uses slight of hand with her use of product. She doesn't show you how much used, you don't know what you are being charged for except what she tells you, and yes, she jumps in and starts doing procedure before you are even done with discussing. And she wouldn't give me a cost estimate before she started, then when done, it was far more than I expected. The first time I paid by credit card, was told to pay with cash. Second time, she told me ahead of time how much cash to bring. And of course she spent all of it. I have no clue how many CCs I got of the product. She also doesn't provide any type of receipt showing what she did or how much she used or the cost. I asked for one and got push back. I suspect she asks for cash to avoid reporting her income on her taxes, which is tax evasion. And yes, she triple books appts and keeps one waiting up to an hour. I waited over 1 hour the 2nd time I was there. First time was about 1 hour. The waiting room is super tiny, no privacy at all, walls a paper thin and I could hear her talking to her other patients, arguing with one about what she needed. She tried to sell me expensive and painful chemical peel, and other services that I did not want, but she felt I needed. All I wanted was lip filler and a little Botox. And yes, she does constantly look in the mirror at herself which is strange and makes me uncomfortable. After she started texting me later, begging me to come in, offering a deal if I pay cash, I blocked her and have not been back. Two times there was enough for me. I have gone to Dr. Roberts twice for botox. The first time, I used a Groupon. She called to reschedule my appointment and demanded I come in earlier in the day...which meant I had to scurry to leave work earlier. It turned out, she put me into a triple-booked spot, which meant I ended up having to wait close to an hour. When I met her she was gruff with me and acted like she was the most knowledgeable person on the planet. She scrubbed my forehead with alcohol much more than required. I was not impressed with her AT ALL, but I thought that the results of her work were good. I did not think that the botox results lasted as long, however. I decided to give her another chance and the second time was even worse. She doesn't keep track of how much botox she uses in her clients, so she admitted she had no clue how much she put in at each spot on my forehead and eyes previously. She had also told me she would honor the Groupon price if I returned (which means she would be able to make twice as much than if I had bought another Groupon), but she ended up charging me $40 more than the Groupon price for the same total units. She refused to honor her previous promise. Additionally, she put one last squirt of botox on my right side of my forehead, which rendered my forehead uneven for 2 months. Not cool. This lady appears sloppy, is gruff with her clients and is rude. As a healthcare provider, I cannot recommend this place. read more

She has ever pushed me to do anything other that what I have asked about. She is honest and fair and likes to develop a relationship of trust with her patients.
