I was disappointed the prices went up and are now the same as Walmart, but the quality just seems so much better. They have specials throughout the year and I always take advantage of those. They also have some neat items that you don't really find anywhere else, but they tend to be pretty expensive. I also buy my deer corn there and they were very helpful with that

We bought some 2x6x16 from Sutherlands. The warped and twisted. And I mean the twist were near 90…read moredegrees. It was a Saterday and we were buying 2 boards as to R&R the bad ones (many others warped but not as bad). I told the MOD about them and before I could tell her how bad they were she said that boards will warp. Yep boards will warp, however do not think customers are a fool and do not know what normal warping is and what is so bad that it pull the hangers loose I wrote Corporate and got no respond. Then I called the office an the manager of the La Grange store then wrote me this email Hello Mr. *****. We did get your email about the 2x6x16 you had purchased. I am sorry and there may be some misunderstanding about this. When you talked to the ladies at the front desk they asked you when you bought the boards and you were not sure. The boards you brought in that day had no paint on the ends. All of our boards are color coded and have been for over 2 years. Our return policy is 30 days with receipt. We need proof of purchase in order to do a return or exchange and would have to be within the 30 day window. We try to help everyone we can with looking up receipts but we need the customers to offer more info. Being that you have no receipt or when the time of purchase and the boards do not have paint on the ends it may be possible they were purchased elsewhere. I buy from different places myself and I have made a mistake of thinking I bought from one place and it happen to be somewhere else. We would love to help but we need a proof of purchase. I can go over the 30 days but we have to make sure the boards were purchased here. Hope you understand. To pick up boards that long I have to hook up my 25 foot gooseneck, and I do not run all over the country with it. As for a receipt, itnever got that far. I have a bookkeeper that I send a scan of EVERY receipt to and can get a copy....Again it did not get past me being told that boards will warp and she did not let me tell her how bad they were warped..I was a fool for talking about warped boards. As for the boards having paint as marks ...Again it did not get that far...However they have paint on their ends (see photos) Again the MIC a AND the manager think people are fools. Just because they cannot remember where they buy things do not mean other are as ABSENTMINDED as they are I wrote back to S**** M****** making the points, and have not heard a word. So I call Corporate and got the runaround as well. Well Sutherlands did me as a customer wrong. Not so much about the boards and their cost , however the way they treated me as a customer. My guys cut the boards up to mak bracing and fire bolcks. I paid a premium for short boards ...Something I have by the 1000s. I have 1000s of shipping pallets that are made of 2x6 Douglas fir. They have seven 2x6x7'6" and eight 2x6x5'

My fridge deli drawer kept freezing over and they came out and fixed it within a day or two of calling. As for my washing machine, they were not able to fix it because it was a motherboard issue with parts that were no longer available for my specific model. He gave me a few ideas of ways to get as much life out of it as possible and it continued for another 6 months using those suggestions. They had a $75 charge for coming out which I thought was fair even though they were not able to fix it. I would recommend using On Point for your appliance repairs because they are timely, friendly, honest and fair.

Now wouldn't you think HONEST people would Apply the money that I already paid in to a protection plan that I did NOT sign up for...honest people would apply that to same as cash So those two payments I made NONE of it went towards the same as cash price! I only have till August 9. How is someone supposed to pay off same as cash..if they have to pay taxes on the item EACH time they pay...and the Lease amount each month!?! And renewal fees? Ever since Second Chance Emporium moved to their new building, it's so much easier to shop there!…read moreIt's big and the aisles are wider, and they have a great variety of all kinds of things. You just have to either plan around when you go or be prepared to wait in a long line. Especially during the holiday season, for the first three or four hours the line is all the way to the back of the store and then all the way across the back. They have a big area to hold items, but even that fills up fairly quickly. The busiest time is definitely Friday morning so when I am just going to casually look around, I make sure it's in the afternoon. But they do have some great deals! The line does move fairly quickly and it gives you additional time to shop items along the way! They always have a lot of seasonal items.
