Can't say enough good things about my experience working with ClearView:…read more - Making the appointment was easy, I actually sent them a message on Yelp and got a reply in less than an hour with the quote - Someone called me to confirm details and sends me an email with all I need beforehand - My appointment was with Tom, he arrived on time and ready to go - Tom explained the process thoroughly before the inspection and answered all my questions in details - Tom highlighted all the deficiencies in detail and we did a walk-through of the entire house outside, then inside - A detailed 60-page report was produced, that very evening - I cannot comprehend such a quick turnaround on such a large report with photos, analysis, recommendations, course of action, etc. - Their online platform to view, download and subsequently create a to-do list is something unheard of - Courtesy follow-up call the very next day to see if I need more help Long review but seriously, these guys are AMAZING at what they do. A home is one of the biggest purchase of your life, don't go for the cheap options, go for the quality. Jim was hired by the owner of the house to do a house inspection due to issues the renter was…read morehaving, primarily mold and mildew. Going downstairs (that was locked and renter was not allowed down) Jim walked around and made the comment "that's not mold" through a visual inspection. A drain hose from the furnace was leaking into a hole in the cement floor to which Jim states "that's up to code". The renter has the entire inspection recorded and this will be released on social media shortly. I have read other lower reviews and Jim makes a point to respond and defend. Well, this video will showcase the truth. No report was released to the renter. Jim clearly states through the video to the renter "if you don't like it then leave". Jim also sees mice droppings in the upstairs utility locked cabinet (which the renter cannot unlock as the owner will not allow). Jim shrugs his shoulders and ignores this. I would highly recommend to steer clear of Jim. I feel he is influenced by realtors. I feel he doesn't care and is not truthful. Stay tuned for the video to be released.

We went over the home, foundation, electrical, water, roofing, walls, plumbing, on and on and on. If you choose someone other than this company, you will never know what you missed out on. However, right before my inspection I found out these other services could not be provided. My home inspector provided great pictures and a lot of issues were in the report. However, my home inspector missed a lot of big concerns. The electrical was all messed up and needed rewiring (not too expensive to fix but this was a missed fire hazard). The new furnace was installed incorrectly and the furnace venting was too small ($5,000 bill). The electrical outlets weren't even grounded. How does a home inspector missed that?? It literally is just putting in a cheap testing device into the outlets to check them.
