My host family said this is the "go to place" for late night schnitzel. They are especially opened…read morelate, into the AMs, where as the local joints close at like 10 pm. We came here for my final farewell dinner as my last meal in the Aachen area. It was amazing ..... the 3 of us actually all decided to get the same things: Special schnitzel! There are 2 sections of schnitzel, we got the "mild" one under "specialities." It is unclear what sets this apart from the schnitzel in the other section but we went for it since it was the same price. Everything was HUGE as you can tell from the picture and it was quite delicious. That sauce, it's like a creamy paprika, was delicious. I chose Mild because I didn't want anything spicy but it was actually on the sweet side so maybe next time I'd go one level above since they have 4 levels. the sides are regular French fries, fried potato discs, or rice. At first, I got the potato discs thinking it was roasted potatoes and that was wrong so be careful what you choose. I got a replacement rice side which was perfect with the sauce and schnitzel. We sat outside as usual and it was perfect! I can see why this place is very popular with the locals, especially late night locals.

This place probably has the best Wienerschnitzel in town! A MUST visit if you're around!read more
