Portions were larger than we expected for the price (but we are from Cali). Got a couple glasses of Kolsh. Service was friendly and the staff accommodated our English-only. Jaegar sauce was packed with mushrooms in a brown gravy and the Balkan were fresh chopped onions, a flavorful red sauce and a white sauce with fresh herbs. Amazing amazing. Easily one of the best meals I had on my trip. Oh I made a reservation by the way so not sure how walking in would look like. Staff were very nice.

The inside is reminiscent of an old-school steakhouse. It's dimly lit and lots of wood and dark furnishings. There's shelves and walls of bottles and more bottles. Besides a great company and the good food, there was also bands serenading us through our dinner. Can't beat the abundance of entertainment at every corner of this dining room. The place felt so alive and vibrant. This is touted as one of the best steak houses in Cologne. There's a lot more competition today, but this one is still running strong.
