The motel is right on the bluff overlooking beach and ocean. Beach access is literally right outside down the stairs to the beach. There is no elevator so if you have mobility issues stay downstairs. Also, no ice machine. If you need ice you have to buy at a store.

It's very well maintained and landscaped with lots of flower pots and greenery. Check in was quick and easy, and the desk clerk friendly. I got the "Tiny Tim" room which is well suited for the solo traveler; smaller than the other rooms on site, and is also a little cheaper. It was impeccably clean and featured standard amenities like a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. It also had a USB charging port on the bedside table, which I always appreciate. Both bed and bath linens were fresh and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room is adorned with beautiful coastal photographs taken by the motel owners, who are apparently professional photographers. I'm fine with saving a little money and foregoing the expensive oceanfront or downtown motels. Bandon is so small that it's easy to get around. I didn't find the traffic from 101 to be too loud at all. There's also a little convenience store next door where you can get some snacks or drinks if needed. I would 100% stay here again.

And two queen bed rooms on opposite sides of the house, downstairs, both nicely appointed with furnishings, and two full bathrooms, one of which is also a Finlandia cedar lined sauna. A fully equipped and stocked kitchen (several types of spices, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar and different sweeteners, cocoa, condiments, along with a variety of other kitchen items not normally included with vacation rentals), dishes, lots and pans, blender, etc. with a breakfast bar for two and separate dining table and chairs for four, that looks out over the bay through a full bay window. The living room on the road frontage side is also well furnished, an oversized arm chair, love seat and matching couch with an entertainment center hosting several board games, an electronic fireplace and a flat screen TV with multiple channels. There is even an old style working rotary dial telephone! Out the back door onto a nice sized deck, there is a small table with two chairs and a full sized gas grill for outdoor cooking that over looks the bay. Following the stair case down you walk down the path and you will find yourself on 249' of private bay side water front beach. Downstairs storage there are several sizes of mud boots, crab pots, clam digging equipment and a couple of bicycles for use while staying. All in all this is a great little place to get away and relax on the water. Close to town yet far enough away to feel private. The only downside to this little gem, the road traffic noise, in the winter I'm sure it's nothing but during the summer it starts early and goes late. We had the pleasure of staying in site RV 6 for the Holiday weekend…read more Staying here puts us close enough to walk to the downtown area, a couple of stores and restaurants too. If walking isn't your thing- this location makes for a short drive to the heart of Bandon. Excellent customer service, even before we arrived and on site to make sure everything was good to go for our stay. Onsite laundry ($2. to wash, $2 to dry) was a double bonus for us as well. Super clean bathrooms if you need them- we are self contained and prefer using our own. Great place to walk the pets close by (lots of doggy bags available to pickup after your fur babies) We used their BBQ grill to cook dinner. Several comfy spots to lounge outside- small picnic table at rv spot. 5 stars all the way around- can't wait until our next visit. Thanks again for accommodating us!
