Your night stay whether tent, camping, or in one of their facilities comes with breakfast in the morning. You can book on their website or go through hipcamp. There is drinking water and a flush toilet on site for campers to use. They also do different yoga classes lead by Em Keen either in or outside based on the weather. They have a yoga platform in the Meadow, which is amazing. Chris has her own art studio beautiful art that is for sale. Alan makes all different types of sourdough breads, cookies, rolls, pies, and bagels. They also sell their own honey and eggs from their many chickens. You can order on his website. I went September 2023 for their second ever mind-body wellness retreat. It was an amazing 24 hours. A friend and I went to celebrate my birthday. We started out with a tour of the beautiful farm led by Alan. We then had our first class which was yoga, led by Em. we took a little break for lunch, which was homemade soups in homemade sourdough bread bowls made by Alan. We then had a little bit of relaxation time and time to mingle with each other before having a Qigong lead by Paul Zegarac - this was great and extremely interesting. A practice I've never tried before. We then had a mindfulness class back out on the yoga platform in the Meadow, led by Em. we then spent time with other retreat members just visiting before making our own homemade stone oven pizzas made with Alan's homemade sourdough pizza dough. They had a lot of toppings for us to choose from. for a last class of the day we had a sound bath, which was extremely relaxing and led by Mary Conley - as the sun was setting. To end our day we had a closing ceremony around a bonfire, which was just so emotional and memorable. We made s'mores the fire before going to bed. The next morning, Alan and Chris made us French toast buffet breakfast with two different kinds of homemade compote with yogurt and granola , and even some of their honey from their farm. Going to Flannel Dog Farm was an awesome experience, and I look forward to returning!

They have such a wide selection of oils, and I really appreciated that many come with recommended recipes. It makes it so easy to try something new at home. One of my favorite parts was being able to taste the oils before buying. It made the whole experience fun and helped me choose exactly what I wanted. I also couldn't resist picking up a handmade ceramic garlic grater. it's beautiful and made such a perfect gift! The staff are incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping by!

Dorothy will provide you a sample of as many products as you ask for (I know from experience lol). I cannot recommend this store enough for your culinary needs. Any one of the products here makes a fantastic holiday gift for the home cook in your life!!

Their selection of Polish and Italian sausages is impressive and people flock there to buy them. We just had New York strip steaks from Urbaniak's for dinner and they were the best. We stop in there specifically to buy their Maryland crab cakes, which are the tastiest pre-made crab cakes we've ever had. Prices are very reasonable too. Erie is lucky to have such a quality butcher shop where everything is fresh.

The smoked chicken breast is absolutely delicious and the perfect meat for a cracker. Their smoked salmon is legit and I saw that as a native of Seattle who is VERY pick about his salmon. And their deli emats00well, if you associated delis with processed meats as I do--forget about it. These deli meats are truly slices fresh meats. Beyond fresh and local being a better choice to support your local community, it is also VASTLY healthier because it is not packed with sodium nd preservatives. So if you prefer a lower sodium diet like me, you can actually have deli meat again! (Try the ox tail--delicious tender and lightly salted but don't forget the free Au jus if you are a big salt fan). Prices: shocking, I would have to say on par or in the case of some of their cheeses BETTER priced than the grocery stores. So not, high quality and healthier options do not have to mean higher prices. OK, So the meats are delicious, the products are locally made and fresh and the prices are good. So what is the catch? Does the Service suck? No, not it does not. I have always received friendly service and timely. If you come in the morning, it can get very busy so remember to grab a number and try not to be rude or demanding. They are kind and courteous but no one likes a noisy jack ass. Overall, from my personal perspective, if you are buying meats for the grill, for your sandwiches or just as a tasty snack, you cannot go wrong with Urbaniaks.

I visited in January 2025 while I at Crocker Park. I didn't even know about this business until I stumbled upon it on my walk to Barnes and Nobles. They offer honey of different varieties (flavours), chapsticks, soaps, honey gift sets, and more. I bought a 16oz (454g) bottle of raw honey named "Linda's Sweet Honey". See attached photo. I've used this honey in several cups of tea already and I love it. It's a bit more watery than expected but it still functions as any honey should. I am just used to seeing thicker honey so the watery one that I have threw me off guard a little bit. The employee working on the day my friend and I visited is the owner's son. He was very friendly and nice to chat with. I asked him how the business started and he explained how his mom started the business. I got to sample about 3 different kinds of honey which was cool. My friend bought 4 lip balms (chapsticks) and she gave me one, the wildflower lip balm. I like the lip balm because it is made with pure Ohio beeswax, it's non-GMO, plus it is moisturizing which is the most important part. The business is based out of Warren, Ohio. I'll definitely be back. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 33/365 total reviews in 2025 - 814 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 5 February 2025

When I heard that he was selling a three pack sampler of his Middlebury, habanero hot, and bourbon barrel honey as part of a Virtual Yelp Event I knew I had to try it! Wes provided excellent communication and the honey was shipped out in a speedy manner. The honey was very securely packaged in an eco-friendly mailer and padding. Each glass jar was a petite size, and the package came with some recipes. I've tried the Akron Honey vinaigrette so far using the Middlebury honey and it's wonderful on salads. I loved all three flavors. The Middlebury honey is dark and has a pleasant, slightly tangy flavor to it. The bourbon barrel honey is AMAZING. You can really taste the bourbon in it, and Wes says it took a full year to develop this honey. The habanero hot is spicy as advertised and really packs a punch! It's a lovely combination of sweet+heat. As a honey hoarder (I've got varieties that range from mango to manuka) I was very impressed with the service and quality of honey from Akron Honey. If you are also a fellow honey enthusiast and want to support a wonderful business check them out!
