She wanted to know what was it that I needed? Told her I only need an eyebrow wax and also an under arm wax. You can also make an appointment on their website or on the app. Right away I was seen by Maddy and Izzy. They wanted to know who I would be comfortable with. I said,"it doesn't matter, whoever does a great job" and we all laughed. Maddy took me into the room where they do the waxing, and started doing my underarm first, then my eyebrows. I told her not too thick, & not to thin. That's exactly what she did. Just a touch up. It was a very pain-free experience. I got the feeling that they use high quality wax and I was right. Heard other patrons talking about it. She even applied Aloe Vera to cool down the sensation, which wasn't bad at all. Some places don't do that. They sell many different types of products for your skin and hair. What I liked was that they didn't convince, nor force you to buy anything. To be honest with you, the price for both were a tad expensive. I paid $31 for my under arms, and $30.00 for my eyebrows. Yes, both of them. LOL.:-)) I have 2 eyebrows. Minus her tip. They do all types of wax, for women and men. Eyebrows, chest, bikini, underarms, legs, arms, lips, entire face, and more. Place was spotless clean, with street and private lot parking. They have gender neutral restrooms. I guess you get what you pay for! I will stop by again, if and when I am in the area. It even smelled amazing. Even the bathroom felt luxe and thoughtful, which says a lot about the care they put into the space. My esthetician was wonderful. The whole experience felt pampering and soothing, even the extractions (yes, you read that right!). My one teeny tiny wish is that I would have loved more explanation as she went along about the products and steps being used. I would have happily splurged on skincare to take home if I had known what was on my face. That said, my skin was absolutely glowing when I left. It felt refreshed, hydrated, and just happy. Dehydration is usually my main issue, and this facial hit the reset button. Other little details I appreciated were the super convenient parking structure across the street. That's always a plus especially in Old Town Pasadena. Bottom line: if you are into self-care and skincare, this is your spot. I will definitely be back for another facial, maybe even to try a different treatment next time.
