For a 6-12 year old this is close to perfect. Lots of huge slides and climbs. There are also some features you rarely see like a waterplay area with a pump. From time to time other parents had issues with her, I guess not understanding what exactly she was doing and how important it was to the child's development, but I attribute the majority of my son's excellent behavior and transitional ease into kindergarten to Mrs. Andria. We did have one frustrating situation in Andria's class where another student was repeatedly disrupting the class and nobody at the school would assist Mrs. Andria in the matter, so I had to get involved to the point of getting ready to pull our son out of the program. Once I met with the director, Mrs. Judy from the 4's, we finally got the problematic child removed, but it shouldn't have reached this point. When he reached the 4's, I believe the job was much easier at this point for Mrs. Judy. The 4's class seemed a little more worksheet driven than the artistic projects the 3's had, but progress was still shown. I don't know if it was because of the age or class, but it did seem to slow a little in comparison to strides made by the 3's class as far as behavior we observed at home. The only other issue I think we ever had was when I tried to donate some computers to the classes and wanted to give one to the 4s and one to the 3s, but for whatever reason couldn't give one to the 3s. I don't know if Mrs. Judy didn't think they were ready or what, but the way Mrs. Andria had the kids behaving, I thought they were quite prepared. Obviously I don't run the school though and my requests were rebuffed. I don't feel like I'm giving proper credit to the helpers either. I don't mean to be rude as I can't quite remember name spelling, but I know Mrs. Selma and Mrs. Uhme were loved by our son and always did great work. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 would really be because of the issue with the student that we had to fight so hard to have resolved. Otherwise, it was a great experience, and they have an all-star teacher in the pivotal position between 2's and 4's.

In addition, the principle seems incredibly knowledgeable- which is refreshing. She demonstrates true concern for the betterment of her students and ensures that their best interest is at heart. The teachers I've encountered have been nothing short of encouraging and motivating. This school provided such a positive experience. I knocked off one star only because of the constant calls we received in the evenings regarding fundraisers, PTA meetings, etc. it wasn't all that big of a deal at first but it eventually got to me (so Sorry! I am Sure there was a way to opt out but we didn't know how)! Otherwise, we were happy to have had our son attend ATES.

I have tried other centers and always come back simply because of the care time they put the children. Not only did my children's vocabulary explode, but their emotional maturity expanded under their care as well. In our home communicating your feelings and words appropriately is an important part of how we want to raise our children and this is something that the center focuses on as well. Often we as parents are unsure where to turn to when we know that we have to leave our children in the care of other people. It's a scary idea in the world we live in today. I have never had a problem here. I feel my children are safe and the open communication that I receive from the center helps with that greatly. Thank you PVCDC for caring for the children as the priority of what you do everyday. This type of comfort is hard to find.

I am a parent, who was really loyal to this school, and I tried to resolve our communication issues…read morelooong time. My older sun went to this school at 2021 when director was Mariah Pirhala. And she was the sweetest lady who really love kids and really take care of them. We talked about it with Mariah before I signed up my 2 kids for the next school year 22-23, and before I paid the 2 months tutoring for 2 Kids $2274. And she said that for this school year (21-22) they will be required masking inside for both kids and teachers, but for the next year, if the community level will be low, and all situation will stay positive with Covid, they will remove this requirement. And that was absolutely ok, and seems normal. School has to started at sep 12. Last email I got from RLP was from June 4. And in August I accidentally got the information that Mariah is not a director any more, and RLP has nobody at this position. They finally hired the new director at aug 18. And of course she was not able to do all the documentation in time. There was no plan for kids development, no Covid protocols, no parent hand book. NOTHING. At the parent meeting 1 week before school starts they finally said that they will keep requiring masks inside for kids and teachers. No any digital or hard copies of Covid protocols and other documentation was not provided. They hired almost all new teachers for new school year, and we met them 1 week before school starts.. when I asked about the program for kids for the new school year, they said that they have no academic orientation at the school... oops... your web site tells me other thing. New teachers was hired 2 weeks before school starts, they know nothing about school, can not answer any questions. For my older son I decided right away that he will not attend this school at the 22-23 year. But I gave him a try for the first day - he came back and said this school was super boring. My younger son went there 2 weeks.. he is 2,5 y.o. Potty trained and talk very nice, not English, But he know some key phrases. First week he just said "good bye mum" and walk away with smile. But second week was terrible. It looks like something happened there, or nobody taking care of him... he tell me that he was by himself and nobody talk with him, he can not understand what people saying and what is going on because he can not see the faces. after two weeks his new teacher were changed... it is tells me something. New Director Gina Thomson talked with me in sep 7 and she said if the community level will stay low at the end of September, school will remove the masks. I was waiting till October... Guess what? They did not, but the charge me another 612$ for another month for my younger son. I was remind her about what she said, and she answered that they "are seeing a rise in the number of students with cold and flu symptoms and will continue to watch". But this is not COVID!!!! This is regular autumn situation! After that I send another email, where I explain my position. When I sign up the documents last year I was sure that if the objective situation will be safe, masks will be not required. That I have the experience how harmful masks are for speech development for such young kids (like my older son, who has HUGE progress after I moved him in normal preschool with normal masks policy for such low COVID level). That all other preschools are masks-free from the last year! That this is ridiculous that all people can come to their church without masks, but all their preschoolers, who are safe and they are their "loved kids" has to wear the masks and have all difficulties with this... this is not fair! But she said that she want to talk with me, not write the answers. So my total loss 5 month paid tutoring (2882$) for 7 days attending. This school not refunded any penny! They just give you empty promises. They don't care about kid's development. The most important for them - your money. Their directors changing every year, as long as their teachers. They don't have any real protocols. They do not interest in the parents opinion. (90% parents was super upset about masks requirements for this year, and asked a lot of questions. RLP don't care!) Only one thing is good about RLP - the furniture and Gym inside. When I asked my older child about this school, he keep telling me that no one teacher really spend time with kids, no talking, no exploring, no discovering. They just observe and give material for free imagination. Now my older kid going in another preschool with academic plan for every week! I can see how he develops, they are masks free, teachers spent one-on-one time with every kid. This preschool cost 2 times less! And my son has HUGE progress. If you considering RLP - you better not! From museum to 6 flags to even having a game bus come. Its an amazing camp & the staff is amazing as well. They've made me feel very secure with leaving my son with them everyday. My son dad found this camp just riding down the street they had the advertisement it on the side of the car. This camp is giving my son a wonderful summer. Last but not least it isn't just fun. The morning is filled with educational activities catered to the child's age.

I called back to state that i has made my payment and was informed by Ms. Foster that I would receive a call regarding the welcome party & I could complete registration at that time, this was on May 30th. Camp starts June 25th. I call on June 19th to clarify when the welcome party would be since I was not contacted. Ms. Foster then asks me if I even paid or not? I told her yes, I spoke with u twice on the date I paid. She then goes on to apologize for not contacting me and states that it was overlooked....so when I went on say I didn't want my child to attend the camp. She then tells me that my $150 deposit is non refundable even though my child has not even attended the camp. They are greedy, unorganized, unprofessional, and taking advantage of people for their money! Do not send your kids to this camp!
